First time LSD

I finally managed to get LSD! This 4 pieces of blotter will soon arrive:

I don't know how strong these are. Perhaps someone recognizes them and knows something about them? Someone on another site said these are the latest 'hofmanns' and that they seem to be pretty strong, but he never used them himself. The full text on the blotter should say something about Albert Hofmanns 100th birthday.

I've never used LSD before and I'm not really sure about the dose I should take. Some people told me to take a half one, to find out what it like. Others told me to take a whole trip, to find out what it's really like!
What can you recommend?

I'm experienced with cannabis, mushrooms and LSA.

what is the strongest mushroom trip u had ???
and if I were u .. if ur not sure.. try 1/4th first..
and then the next day or week or whateveR u can take a half or more if u think that 1/4th was waaaay waaaay 2 little

I heard from a friend they were quite strong.
How much you take is actually up to you, if you feel confident and are in a safe environment or not. Still, if you aren't completely sure, better start with a little bit, like ProStoner said.

You live in Holland dude. If you wanna be sure bring it to Jellink or another test centre. LSD takes about 2 months unfortunately, because XTC is giving priority labtime.

If you don't wanna pay the 2.5E for testing and/or you don't wanna wait using the LSD. Take half a blotter. Blotter's strength nowadays doesn't come above 200mics anyway. So half a blotter will do the trick to introduce you nice and gently.

My first acid trip was on 200 mics and it was so cool!
I'd say take the whole thing, it's not a rocky ride like mushrooms can be.
But ofcourse do what you feel like doing.
I'd seriously take at least 1 whole, other wise you get that half in between feeling...

I'd say: take the whole! Although I've never used it I would surely take the whole instead of (like Space said) 'hanging in between'.

My strongest trip ever was 1 whole portion (35 gram) of mexican psilocybe cubensis. It was my first time tripping (I only was experienced with cannabis then) That was just way too much. I've used mushrooms many times in the meanwhile, but never as much as the first time.


Anyhow, on another site some people convinced me not to start with 1/2 or even 1/4 blotter, since your goal with LSD is to have a trip and not be slightly dazed, just as some of you said.

I can agree on that..
that half-half trip is not cool..
but the only people who know what a half-half trips is..
is someone who has taken the drug more often.. so they know the difference
but for someone who is totally new to psychedelics.. this is different

in this case ofcorse he not new to psychedelics
and u probably know the half-half feeling from mushrooms
so if u dont like that .. I agree on the others .. take a whole 1..

An hanging in between trip is like standing beside a station and hearing the the music of your favorite artist in concert, but no ticket to get in, while a full dose is a ticket for seats in the front row, and eventually performing on the stage yourself.

As Hofmann said: "A stable human's mind taking LSD with the right setting under the right circumstances, will be good for the soul of every individual.".

I believe myself, when following that rule, you'll be fine with 300 mcg's, even if it's the first time.

But blotter strength in the Netherlands is quite weak compared to the 60's. If you have blotters with 150 mcg you should consider yourself as lucky.

Don't worry, an Acid trip is like a rollercoaster ride and in no way comparable with shrooms, which consists of ups and downs constantly, Acid is 8 hours flat with fantastic emotions of understand, love and peace in a state of BLISS.

Its a tricky one. I myself also hate it when a trip is not complete and the dose was just a to low. Don't have that much experience with LSD my self more mushrooms. Has a drop my first time, 100 mics that was cool but not as hard as I expected.

Than later that summer I had a blotter which (what was told to me) had 200 mics on it. I was totaly spaced out and it was probably the most Psychedelic experience I ever had. I still have on of these blotters lying around but it seems like its never the right time to take it. I also like to be outside when I take it, if find tripping inside a bit restictive.

Do you guys think I can save this blotter till spring ? or better trow it away and buy some new in spring when the weather is getting better and tripping outside is a possiblity again ?

Just put it in the fridge, in some aluminium foil.

Be sure it doesn't get wet, you can save it for a very long time that way.

I've never heard of refrigerating tabs.

Yeah, low temperature.

LSD-25 is a pretty unstable molecule. When it's exposed to warmth and/or light it will slowly decompose into iso-lsd, which does absolutely nothing in the human body.

Put a tab in direct sunlight at 40 degrees celcius for 2 weeks and a lot of the LSD will be gone.
