For several years I had been reading about an endogenous chemical called DMT. About 4 months ago my friend told me he had obtained a small unknown amount. We split it into two piles, he went first as it was his. I'm not going to describe his experience as it wasn't mine.

When my turn came, I was handed the whip for the vaporizer and away I went. Within seconds I started feeling a pressure in my entire body, along with a rising frequency, seconds later it was lifted and I felt like I was floating. While this was happening the colours around me started to take on a new vividness; I looked to my left as I saw what looked like a light. When I looked back at my 12 o' clock the entire room had transformed. The television set, and everything elses outline wasn't steady as it normally is, but every single object seemed to have large waves. Seconds later it got even more intense and colourful shapes came out of everything. By this point I was very confused as I would have never imagined such a thing happening. I said to my friend, "this is fucking crazy" to which he replied "try closing your eyes."

After closing my eyes I saw the most incredible geometrical pattern I had ever seen. It was not just a static image but it was constantly moving, breathing, evolving. I thought I was a part of this image I was seeing, each movement being felt just as vividly as walking, or talking. I don' remember what happened after this, I simply remember telling my friend “I'm never doing this again.” Five minutes later I thought I was prepared for more, but we had no more.

In subsequent trips I've had feelings of deep interconnectedness with everything in the universe, watched things disassemble themselves before my eyes, or get replaced by hundreds of other possibilities (a doorknob shifting into doorknobs of other styles for example). In fact the variety of things I've experienced in those maybe 7 times I've done it, was more than that of any other psychedelics I've ever tried (LSD, Mushrooms, Salvia, 2C-I).

The greatest feeling I've had though was that I felt right after one of my trips. Where I was so outraged that society/governments shun the only potentially useful modes of altering your consciousness. Alcohol is fine, believing in invisible deitys that somebody else told you about is fine, television is fine... But a substance that might actually give us a glimpse at God (I'm not religious, but somebody else might interpret it as that), or at other planes of existance that current scientific instruments cannot detect, or the interworkings of our minds is BAD. The way society views these things needs to change. Anyways that was a pretty long rant by my standards.

Thanks, I really enjoyed reading your experience.
And wish we could hang out some time.

LSD, Mushrooms, Cactusses bend the spoon. Dmt, missile into one molecule of the spoon, yet a kaleidoscope dome of stupendous size within.

killer!
(excellent), (good), (well done)

sounds like you had an ok hit, but have you had a breakthrough hit?

I've only ever done a breakthrough while I was drunk. Which is the stupidest thing ever I can never remember anything. I believe I have the courage to do it now though.
