Fingerprint resistant material

Does anyone know if silicone phone covers prevent fingerprints? I remember hearing a long time ago that some materials do not hold prints very well at all. For some reason silicone seems like it might be the one, since the surface is bumpy (at a micro level at least). Or maybe I need one of those specially textured ones? Thanks..

fingerprints are basically the grease that your fingers leave behind so any sort of non grease gripping product would work such as silicone but make sure to wipe it afterwards otherwise th fingerprint will remain intact but i would have thought glove would be more useful for your sanitary needs :wink:

Fingerprints are one of the thing that amazes me.. especially when used in a crime scene.. For sanitary purposes, a hand glove could be useful and I'm sure Michael Jackson would not mind.. :wink:
