Hey all just really needing some help with phalaris extractions seeming its the only DMT containing plant that i can get ahold of. iv never signed up for a help site like this before, and have just really read up a few tek's and am in the middle of one experiment that iv just tryed keeping as simple as humanly possible (not careing about yeilds, just wanting TO yeild) heres what i have done
choped up picked phalaris grass, using distilled water acidifyed the solution and added to diced plant matter, shook two times a day for two days and filterd out the plant material (i know this is done twice, as i mentioned not careing about yeild)
i added warm naptha and shook the jar (some people say it takes long for the liquids to seperate, i dont understand this, mine happens instantly, i have chosen to use zippo lighter fluid. if xylene or shellite is better to use, its easy to obtain for me)
i left warm naptha (deffatting stage) for 7 hours for the first pull, and 24 hours for 2nd and 3rd pull (discarding the fatty naptha)
i then basifyed the solution with caustic soda, and added miniscule ammounts of naptha to extract the dmt. i havnt combined the naptha extractions yet because i have only done one pull with naptha and have gone straight to freeze-precipitate (small ammounts evap faster maybe?)
now this is the part im usually stuck on. when freeze-precip for 24 hours the remaining naptha, save, or discard ( i usually pour onto a ceramic plate and evap this off,but it only looks like residue ) could this be because of faulty extraction
with the remaining frozen white ice at the bottom of the jar. i have it sitting in my room next to a low light window evaporating
when people say dont move the jar while evaporating is this stressed to much cause i like to have only outside when im home
the frozen ice has unfrozen its a off-white yellow liquid with offwhite yellow bubbles floating in it, i can see white specks floating in the naptha looks like the caustic soda but im un sure evap is taking a hell long time, even with the small ammount per extraction
and is ph as nessasary as everyone puts it. will it dramatically or even prevent extraction, or will it affect the pureity of the dmt.
i really want to no alot about phalaris extraction with out the use of pottery or kitchen ware, i find using mason jars are more conveinient most teks are about bark and no teks i can find use hcl and deffat then basify with phalaris. will using hcl be prevnting extraction or just not need'd
