Found about this lot when they stirred up trouble in Birmingham. Its almost surreal to see a bunch of violent nutters holding up signs like "Extremists out - keep Britain safe" while engaging in running street battles.

Don't know about Europe CMF but Britain could be a candidate for turning into an authoritarian ultra-right state - something like Alan Moore's V for Vendetta. The economy here is broken and its going to get much worse over the next few decades putting enormous pressure on our infrastructure. How will we respond?

I see two main possibilities: 1) People will become disillusioned in the government and the corpolitical powers that be in general, independently come together in a spirit of solidarity to ensure as good a standard of living as they can, or 2) People will still look to the government to fix everything, allowing the nanny surveillance state we live in now to make the transition to a full police state.

My eyes are elsewhere now though. In two weeks I've leaving for Canada and won't ever be back again.

Choice 3: people break up into reactionary groups against the powers that be, not working together, perhaps even fighting amongst themselves. That one scares me a bit.

And welcome to Canada. :)

I think we might be heading down the same rabbit hole as you with our right-wing PM, but things will probably stay all right for a while :D

maybe that's a reason for people to look at the government for guidence. When there is no more goverment tribes may form.
And tribal war can be a danger.

If people do rise up against the powers that be, i hope it's in a peacefull way.

For me it's about peace. I am not going to focus my hate and energy and these hooligans.

There is a Dutch neo nazi party. They don't have many voters, but there leader is not that dumb and a smart speaker (for a neo nazi). He is mixing ideas from both left and right. Because the Nazi's where also socialist.
This guy doesn't hate Islam. He looks upon the terrorist as freedom fighters against the Zionist.

and of course we have Blondie.
Of course the nazi's don't like Blondie because of his connections to Israel.
