Yesterday during my seccond dmt trip i transformed from a dancing snake to a dancing human,
when i opened my eyes i was so lucid aware of becoming a human that i started physically dancing.

dont get me wrong this was not after the trip or in the fase of it going away it was at the peak of the trip!
I never had any dancing lessons or so, however my girlfriend has done ballet and moderrn ballet/dance,
she said it was one of the most beautifull dancing she ever wittnessed, complex movements and so on.
It was a ancient like dance focussed on a spinning movement like i was experiencing as being a snake... dancing on the sound of the snake charmer...

My question is... is it normal to become so fully physical engaged in the peak of a DMT trip? and have others been able to break out of the bodyload/bodylock and felt complete awareness and control over their mind and body?

108 views and no rply's? there must be others that engage physical on DMT... stretching, poses? painting? music? ...

never experienced that on dmt, however, i have definitely noticed a similar effect on mushrooms. i remember when it was finally wearing off and i was in bed relaxing finally by my self. i couldn't sleep so easily, so instead i just kind of writhed around in the bed, moving around using all of my muscles. idk it just felt good to move and flex and stretch freely. eventually i got tired but not for several hours of laying there  .

i've drawn for hours straight on the peak of a trip, one of my most abstract, yet detailed drawings... i've also put on a little show for my friends with a butterfly knife on the come up of one trip. it made me more fluid and able to maneuver it faster than usual.

psychedelics definitely increase some aspects of the nervous/muscular systems

I had the urge to move and flow before on DMT, but the experience was with one of my friends for his first time, and I didn't want to - I don't know - put him on uneasy or something.

Instead I started pacing the room "OH MY GOD ITS SO BEAUTIFUL, HAHAHAHAHA OH MY GOD!"

"AMAZING" "OH... HAHA ITS. HAHAHAAA OH MY"

that was peak, and yeah I felt like running and cliff diving and bungy jumping and all that jazz. I was VERY ready to do anything physical.

I know this thread is a couple months old but anyways

recently when I smoked dmt, I felt like i was an Aztec warrior or I would go so far to say it felt like the spirit of a warrior had entered my body from an ancient dimension and I had a new found excitement/awareness of my body.. I would run and jump and it felt like I was about to play in a final game to the death.. Might have made up the feeling from learning about the temples and courtyards at the Mayan pyramids and how they would play a game similar to basketball and soccer and the winning team would be sacrificed to the gods.. I felt strong and full of honor..
Then i found a mirror and started dancing like a woman stripper (I'm a man in real life).. I felt sexy and seductive..

For me with dmt, it feels like living in two different worlds.. The external world and the inner world.. The outside world becomes real and alive and I am an incredibly complex species who can communicate with the world around me, but when I close my eyes, I am not this body and there is a teacher waiting with lessons, love and important teachings.. I believe this is the duality of life.. And there are lessons to be learned in both worlds..

thank you so much for saying that...

i believe the same thing, and due to DMT as well.

The DMT realms are incredibly real, so real I can't deny what I have seen. And yet they have no bearing on my physical reality. It is a true duality.

A friend of mine had an experience on DPT. I'm probably not going to describe it 100% accurately.
However, he was in the presence of some 'elders', and each of them did some sort of dance.
When they finished, it became clear to my friend that it was time for his dance. And he found himself doing it.
I'm pretty sure this all took place in the dream world, but still there was that dancing element.

Terence Mckenna is always coming back to this idea of non-verbal communication taking
place in the DMT state. Dancing seems to fall nicely into that category.

DMT has become a big presence in certain electronic and jamband circles in the US.
I always thought DMT was a thing you did with closed eyes in a dark space.
However, these kids are smoking away at concerts. There was a recent
discussion on one of their forums on the topic. In response to the question
of why you would smoke it at a show, one Disco Biscuit fan responded --

because you can watch giant snakes come out of magners keyboard as the
entire stage turns into a spaceship and you merge with the collective hologram.

These kids dance for hours on the stuff.
