hey guys, just wanted to express some love for Mary, its been 48 days since i have smoked weed. and 48 days ago i was arrested and spent 2 weeks in the hammer for drug related charges, and now i am forced to refrain from smoking anymore. its now starting to really get to me about how much i miss my green, and i have gone through this before, and lucky for me i'm not as addicted to weed as i was before. once i had to quit before, for law troubles and i remember that i used to shake because i had such bad cravings for it (yes you can be addicted to weed, not physically but mentally.)

I remember before i got arrested 48days ago. I had bought 4oz of some good Christmas bud and my friend made a gravity bong that was huge, it was made from a giant 144oz pinesol bottle, he used a socket wrench nut that could easly hold 7g of bud. the smoke was so thick it was yellow and i swear this shit would knock you to the ground.

It was my first time with a gravity bong, I took my first 2 hits, I coughed so hard, lol it was my first time to throw up when smoking (and I have a smokers lung, i can handle salvia easy.) After those to hits it was the highest I had ever been. I shit you not, I was trippin. As you know MJ is a hallucinogen, and at times i have had closed eye visuals when i was really baked. this was the first time were i could see colors and those colorers actually took shape into things, faces, patterns. I did this for about 5 days straight till i got arrested. it was probable the funnest i have ever had with you mary, and i cant wait till the day i get to taste your beautiful smoke in my lungs.

You've inspired me to try my hand at making another gravity bong. My last one sucked. Any suggestions for good materials (perhaps on a smaller scale than your companion's )?

Errr, what is exactly a "gravity" bong ?

A GB, my good friend, is a bucket of water. In it sits a 2 liter coke bottle with the bottom cut out. On top of the bottle where the cap would go is a piece of aluminum foil or you can melt a socket ( from a socket wrench set ) through the coke cap to use as a bowl piece. You pack the bowl piece and as you apply flame to the bud, you slowly pick up the coke bottle so that it is drawing smoke from the bowl into the bottle. When the bottom of the bottle is about to come up out of the water, you stop and unscrew the cap, put your big, ugly lips on the bottle and inhale while pushing the bottle back down into the bucket. The rush of smoke created by pushing the bottle down will really knock you on your ass. It's a good way to get a giant hit from a miniscule amount of pot.

I used to have a long bowl and stem combo that would fit right on top of any 2 liter and make itself air-tight. The stem would reach down into the water so that the GB would bubble and the smoke was filtered like using a regular bong. Made it much less harsh but someone stole that cool little device from me.

I also made what my friends called "The human GB" out of a trash can. You could only use the thing in a lake or swimming pool, and it required a lot of cheap pot but you could actually swim up underneath and chill INSIDE of it. Had to keep your eyes closed or the smoke would sting the fuck out of em.

Any way, i would glad to explain how to make a very good gravity bong. I think it would be better to start another topic on how to make it, its gunna take me awhile but trust me it will be worth it. ill post the link when i'm done.
