Cigars

I was just wondering, who enjoys a good cigar? What's your favorite? I just got my first real cigar that I plan on enjoying tonight with a nice whiskey sour to sip on.

i like the odd cigar. i dont know much about them but the best ive smoked were cuban. very fresh tasting. i find it impossible not to inhale like its a joint though. i dont think thats what you do.
i once went 3 days without smoking tobacco and then smoked a cheap cigar.
the effects werent much different from salvia. i had to sit down in the street
while my head filled with memories of all sorts. rushes of memory from my childhood and all sorts of trivia. it was great. it took 10 minutes for me to be able to walk properly again

I think cuban cigars are overstated in the US because they are illegal (Cuban imports, you know)

I once had a cigar from a cuban cigar-maker (he had been in my town for some business/promotion action). This cuban guy had real cuban tobacco leaves with him and rolled cuban cigars - of which I got one. I really don't believe it was anything below best standard, because this guy was on some kind of promotional business tour through europe - not even cuba would allow that guy to roll bad cigars!

Well, I smoked that cigar the same night, and I tried to enoy it a lot. After 30 minutes or so I had to put it out because I was becoming dizzy. It was just too much for for me, even I am a regular smoker - and I had also been a regular bong smoker for years. I had thought no nicotine product in the world could ever put me down - but this one did...

i find it impossible not to inhale like its a joint though. i dont think thats what you do.

Well, this cuban cigar has probably been the only thing in the world that I could not inhale. I tried it once of course (ouf to interest) and I was put back buy some heavy cough-attack. This cigar just wasn't lung-smoekeable by normal users. Not even by those who had years of experience in smoking bong hits...

occasionally, but as I'm not a smoker I don't try to inhale (sometimes, just a lil') and I prefer cigarillo's or other types of smaller cigars (also tuitknak, don't know how they're called in english).

I heard the good Cubans were the pre-Castro >_< I had a Cohiba from Demonican Republic and it was Delicious! It took me about 90-110minutes to smoke, and I did have a hard time not inhaling too, but I had to inhale every now and than. I was feelin real groovy too, I think I'm gonna have to treat myself to a nice cigar at least once a month.
