CHLORINE ON WEED?

oka this stuff my friend had smelled really funky......like clorine or something and he said it was packaged like that so the dogs couldnt smell it........
so is this shit safe to smoke?

Well if it IS chlorine, I think it would be dangerous, perhaps retarded to even attempt. BUT. I would advise you find out exactly what it is, wether it’s a poison of some kind, soda or sugar solution to make the bud appear stickier and thus more resinous, or it may even be that it has been semi or badly cured and so still has that filthy stench of dieing chlorophyll. I can’t assess this without having smelled the bud in person but I can suggest for sure that it would be a bad idea to just smoke it without being sure it’s not something rancid or dangerous. And wouldn’t you think a dog would be able to pick up the stench of a pool chemical just as easily as they can the smell of bud? And why buy chlorine to put off the smell when one can simply use smell proof baggies and other more efficient methods of concealment?

i really dont know what the hell it is..........smells weird but i did smoke some{after i had grinded and dried it out} and it was fine still had a little chemical smell to it........why would anyone do this to good smoke? boggles my mind! i think it will be safe if dried all out till it crumbles in your hand...

now i have gotten sertan lb's that the outer tape smelled like this sort of....
but less strong...............fuck i dunno.......

I was thinking about you last night while smoking (yes in a sexual way, )
And I have come to the conclusion that it IS in fact dieing chlorophyll that is causing the acrid aroma emanating from four smoke-ables; this, or perhaps a build-up of hydro-orientated nasties if it was grown that way.
When bud isn’t cured properly or not for long enough it smells somewhat like this; like chlorine. It could also be a factor where and how it was grown; hydro or bio-organic. Hydroponics often utilise allot more chemicals and hormones whilst growing so perhaps it hasn’t flushed correctly before it was harvested. I wouldn’t worry about it tho, often its a sign of a rushed job in the bud production and the grower wants to produce as much as fast as possible and distribute it; he don’t care if it wasn’t fully looked after in the weeks and months following its harvest, ie. Curing and flushing it thoroughly and have it hanging up for at least 6 months as to make it dry enough to crumble before you bought it. Often, bud is just crammed into bags without it being fully dry and causes the build-up of gasses and other chemicals in the bag with your bud. This also runs the risk of mould attack (because of the moisture) and makes the smoke a lot more harsh and plastic tasting; not a pleasant way to go. This is coupled with the diversionary tactics I explained earlier, where the dealers add sticky liquid (sometimes even fly spray and the like) onto the bud to make it seem more appealing. The best bud should have almost no odour before you chop it and should almost crumble into dust at the touch, that way you know it’s in its prime and ready for inhalation
