So Ive got my Syrian rue and my Acacia bark,

How do i prepare the Acacia bark ? I'm assuming boiling it but I'm not sure for how long or if it needs to be mixed with anything.

Does anyone have experience with Acacia's ?

This is what I've found on Syrian rue

you want to get rid of the quizanoline compounds.. They are not (or little) soluble in acidified water, while the b-carbolines, which are the chemicals you want, are very soluble in acidified water..

so just boiling the broken/grinded seeds for a few minutes in water with lemon juice, then filtering and saving the liquid, and repeating process with the solid material 2 more times..

then throw out material, keep just liquid, reduce it to smaller amount, put honey on it (to diminish astringency, makes it taste better), let it cool and drink

What species of Acacia do you have? What's the full name in Latin? You'd better be sure about its taxonomy in order to calculate the dosage.
As far as preparation goes, I guess steeping in acidified water for 1 hour x2 times should suffice. And don't hassle about rue. Simply boil the seeds in 500ml of water with lemon juice for 20-30 minutes. Then dispose of the seeds. Don't grind them.

Its an Acacia longifolia,

Ok now, fast search through wikipedia claims it to contain 0.2% DMT in plant, as well as some other alkaloids.
To figure out the weight of plant necessary, read this
http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/ayahuas ... nfo8.shtml

This article contains some info on amounts of DMT in Ayahuasca preparations.
If you want your brew to have ~30mgs of DMT, you'll need approx. 15 grams of Acacica longifolia. Btw, how come did you choose to use acacia instead of mimosa or diplopterys?

For my first DMT experience i smoked some stuff called "dream time blend" on the bottle it said it was an acacia extract.

It was mind blowing, the only down falls were it all happened so fast and its difficult to remember. So now i plan on brewing some ayawaska.

Well i live in Australia, and we have massive amounts of acacias growing in our national parks so it seamed to the eazy to get . Im not really sure if mimosa or diplopterys are eazy to get in Australia, honestly i dont know what they are.

Psychotria viridis, Mimosa hostilis and Diplopterys cabrerana are the most common DMT-containing plants used by westerners to prepare ayahuasca/its analogues. Which means there's a lot of experience accumulated regarding brewing tecs, dosages, and etc. Whereas Desmanthus illinoensis, Phalaris arundinacea, and various Acacia species are more like experimental herbs...so very little is known about their brewing, alkaloids, drawbacks etc.
You should feel free to experiment with Acacia though. Make sure to stack up with a large batch of it, start low and work your way up [having the single big batch is good because you'll be working with the source of the same potency].
3 grams of Syrian rue concoction drank 15 minutes before ingesting the Acacia brew should be enough for proper MAO inhibition.
Good luck and tell us how it all goes!
