    My guess is that buddhists just want as less metabolism as possible, this is the case with food and drugs. And drugs aren't needed for survival so they are frowned upon.

    I've drunk absinth a lot. It just makes me drunk with a very interesting placebo touch to it. I tend to explore the drunkness more than with beers or other alcoholic drinks, searching for differences, resulting in a more active and fun type of drunk. Placebo effect is also effect :)

    You just need to focus on a point of energy about half a meter above your head. One you have visualised that point, once you feel it's there you have to convince yourself you really want to go to that point. This is quite hard to do sober imo, but on a trip you just slide out of your body :)

    Prozac/antidepressants only cure the symptomes not the cause of the "depression". I have never had a depression in my life, so I could be wrong when I say that to cure a depression you have to be true and go introspective. No drugs, no psychiatrists, no doctors, no chakras or accapuncture...

    IMO, if it feels like every trip is going in the same direction you trip to much. I've had this with MDMA after weekly use. Put more space between your trips. Wait tripping until you've forgotten how it feels.

    I think of karma as chains of events that return to you. If you do something good, chances are high it will keep translating itself into other good things via a cause-consequence system and maybe grow super huge or maybe dissapear who knows... A bit like an external mindset consisting of events...

    Try to do different things in reoccuring dreams. It's hard but try some lucid dreaming tricks first. If you dream your being followed by an evil entity, just turn around and face it. Mostly it's just an inocent being there and you laugh :)

    Filter cigarettes aren't tobacco, they are drug coctails. And nicotine is poisonous (like everything) but doesn't cause cancer. Ritual use was done with another strain of tobacco that contains more nicotine so less material has to be smoked. It's also non-radioactive. About as harmful as pure...

    I don't think you need both because the pathway is ... -> tyrosine -> dopa -> ... -> mescaline But I don't know how to do this and somehow I don't believe this method works. Be sure to post your results, maybe grow another cactus in the same conditions without the extra precursors?

    They are not patented because they occur in nature. Levodopa is sold as levodopa, it's used for parkinson treatment. Check wikipedia for legal uses, and go to your pharmacist.
