Cosmic Trigger and the Shrodingers cat trilogy i enjoyed Castaneda even though i could see through him towards the end of the series...

    its not just the mould, there are a host of bacteria you would normally associate with food poisoning growing in there as well. the best you could do is a butane extraction through filter paper to remove the spores, but your still going to get some toxins, spores and bacteria coming through anyway

    one of the boletes. most are excellent, a couple are inedible and at least one is deadly - the devils bolete - but that doesnt sound like it. if you have eaten canned mushroom soup you have eaten boletes. maybe even one ive picked. ceps fetch ~£7.50/kg. an interesting family

    my "gut feeling" is they are liberty caps. i just dont want to guess when it comes to mushrooms over the internet. see whae else comes up. you cut the stems so it could be as little as 3 days before more grow

    sooo hard to say. they look like that when they are waterlogged. i dont want to poison you but i think they are P.sem. check the same spot over the next couple of days and see if any more come up. dry the ones you have just in case. i think many people find identifying them difficult at first...
