    Smokable Opium FAQ

I thought about it, yes. No growing at home. It is a nice day, warm, it is spring, I am happy and I am gonna look for some nice place for my poppies. It's not easy to find uncultivated, open land, only forests or cultivated land. I will nonetheless look for some placed a bit further away. Wish...

How many joints you smoke a day, everyday??

I am very stable with vaporizing once (usual) or twice a week. I think this (or rarer) is the perfect rhythm so you still can enjoy it and it doesn't affect your daily life and sleep. IMHO this is the maximum you should use it if you want to keep it psychedelic.

    Horrible problem(s)

That's because you were at a bad doctor PERIOD. Funny, you "anti-psychiatrists" only quoted one part of my post. There are limits where self-medication really helps and where not. You say, that the definition of "helping" varies. If someone doesn't kill himself, isn't depressed any more I...

    Horrible problem(s)

So the job of psychiatrist should be given to schizos and suiciders? Fine. A doc that makes a heart OP doesn't need having had one as well, a judge that judges a murderer doesn't need to commit a crime. Do you think noone was helped with a psychiatrist? WRONG. If a person dies on the bed of a...

    Jazz

can you paraphrase your metaphorical understanding of masturbation? Masturbation is an act of self-pleasure but as I see it (although I don't really like it either) the main drive of jazz is something completely different.

    Does existence precedes essence?

Not as I see it. Every Thing has an essence and the universal essence unites them all. You don't mean essence, you mean definition. Indeed, humans tend to give definitions to things but what the essence really is is indeed still disputed. essence= causality meaning= finality Even if life has...

    Does existence precedes essence?

  31. R

    Does existence precedes essence?

That quote is very specific, it is about what I wrote in my last post. It is about Existentialism and its philosophy. If you say that essence is the purpose then this is a contradiction. Essence is the cause/origin while purpose alludes finality. Good quote but doesn't solve anything...
  32. R

    Does existence precedes essence?

Aah...Sartre. I partially agree with him. A human being IS the sum of his acts and every human being is also responsible for his acts. Paraphrasing this sentence as: The acts, life of a human being are more important than human nature, I think that most of us can agree on that. Human nature is...

Are we all just playing a game?

Funny, I actually could reflect a lot of the book to nowadays, the machinery, the combine, the loss of laughter, escapism, the mist etc. What bigger message do you see in the Matrix? The topic of the Dharma? You are right in the entertainment though.

The Economist: How to stop the drug wars

Because it is very one-sided, especially in international politics. They call people liars, they sell opinions for facts and you clearly see whom they hate and whom they love. They really hate Russia, Putin and the whole east. I remember them spreading lies during the oil crysis in the Ucraine...

What was before the big bang?

I was rather talking about the Essence, the essence of the universe/life. Ergonomic does not mean best. Instant Soup....Instant experience does not mean true religious experience. The fastest way to obtain wisdom is not the best. still, their experience was not based on drugs. PS: we need not...
  56. R

What was before the big bang?

As soon as God is defined it loses its divinity. But probably something like grasping the essence. What is the essence? I don't know. IMHO you stress the religious experience too much on psychedelics. What do you think of people as Buddha, Jesus, Moses, ...?
  57. R

What was before the big bang?

dito. If I understand, you want to say "you must open your eyes to see Beauty", but then the question is, how do you open your eyes? Maybe, just a thought, it is a circle - observation of beauty leads to the opening of the eyes and this is followed by the realization of beauty (resp...
  59. R

What was before the big bang?

okay probably you are right about the ergonomy. Nonetheless IMHO this is not as important. I think that life itself is a great teacher and the observation of life, nature etc. is an experience per se.
  60. R

What was before the big bang?

I referred to the etheogens. I don't see what you mean with ergonomic...(I know what ergonomic means)
  61. R

What was before the big bang?

This is not my understanding of atheism, I just wrote that as a reaction to Crimzen. I already wrote what I understand with atheism. Humanism and atheism are not consequences, there can be humanism and theism as well. Not necessarily. But yes.
  62. R

What was before the big bang?

Then atheism = nihilism? This may be the difference of the places we live in...A lot of people I know call themselves atheists because it is en vogue. Any other europeans experiencing this?
  63. R

What was before the big bang?

First of all, these numbers are inaccurate, as I am officially Christian but would not call myself that way. That's the first difference. There are people that are generally against Religions, that call themselves atheists because this is "in", people who simply don't understand anything...
  64. R

What was before the big bang?

do you want numbers? I can't say, it depends on how you define atheism. Compare Camus with Dawkins. Camus was an atheist in a way of life, in a philosophy - he meant it and understood. He was free. Dawkins is just an asshole that enjoys smashing things he does not understand. A really...

What was before the big bang?

no,no. I am talking about here, us, the western society. First we had the Gods in hour hearts, then in our houses, then in the temples and then we lost them entirely. God is dead. wow, cool, attack the other side until you've won. That's why I dislike atheist society - you have lost dreams of Truth. All you can talk of is probability, induction and other shit. You tell others to wake up but I tell you - start dreaming again!

Yesno. In a democracy, which is unfortunately rare, the people should control the government. But you are right in reality. True, it is generalized. The probably best trick would be to forbid patents for drugs, so there would be no monopoly.
  84. R

What was before the big bang?

That's why I wrote that we're talking past each other. I don't disagree with you. Nonetheless the "high" propability is not constant. Especially when talking about big bang. Based on today's knowledge there it is possible that the big bang occured - but we still don't know (! know !) how time...
