I agree. I'm totally against some of the policies in my country that say that I HAVE to consider a certain person over another more qualified person because of their ethnic background. I actually had a prospective employee call me a racist because I didn't hire him, and his accusation was based on the fact that I didn't have an employee of his ethnic background working for me. I employ a very ethnically diverse group of people for those that were wonderin, but my business isn't the proverbial "melting pot". I hire those that are qualified and those that will WORK. As an owner of a small business, I feel it is my right to hire who I want. And if I want to discriminate for whatever reason (I don't, btw) I should be able to.
