So this website is offering me a special,
I was planning on buying aya for the summer, but if I do, this site is going to give me kartom and hbwr for free.

The hbwr is a blessing, as I want to start researching LSA->LSD.

But the question is: WTFKRATOM?

I read it up on wikipedia and it seems like its close to a strong caffeine, feel happy, and calm, but has a come-down afffect like mdma??

Sounds like a nono who's got insight in this?

Kratom has got an opiate in it, in low doses it is sedative and in high doses stimulating (or the other way around, I always forget). In my experience, it was really REALLY relaxing. Like weed, but without the running thoughts/tingling body. I didn't think it was like coffee and I didn't think it was like MDMA. It is mildly addictive if you use it a lot. I did not experience a hangover.

kratom should be an interesting drug.
As forkbender says, low dose is sedative as weed, high is more like coca.
never heard of possible side effects, beside addiction, but as I know just after years of continous consuming

What site is giving such gifts??
Wonderful! :D

for sure lower doses are somewhat relaxing but i thought it was the other way around?? if you take a high dose you'll be laying back lethargic, sleepy and dreamy, similar to if you smoked a lot of opium. well so sayeth the erowid TR I was reading when I bought my kratom last year..

Anyway after I bought it I took a moderate dose of kratom and a hit of mary jane and I spent a couple hours laying back dreaming of clouds of orange, pink and blue...

one thing for sure, boiled-down kratom is not tasty. it's probably the opposite of tasty. :D

Kratom is also a blessing in disguise

Kratom in a high dose (preferably good resin) is something like a weak opiate, but can at the same time be activating.

That means if you take 5-10g good resin extract you'll be lying down like if you smoked opium, but at the same time you won't be able to sleep the whole night, and maybe later you will be getting up, cleaning your apartment - but still be extremely relaxed.

The effect can be very subtle (especially with lower doses it's more like chewing coca leaves, just energizing with a feeling of wellbeing). Or the effect can be rather strong, with a high amount of resin when you smoke a cigarette (nicotine has a strong effect on kratom).
Some people never seem to get a strong effect, though.

I sometimes like to do it, although it's really expensive...

kratom isnt an opiate, but it acts on the opiate receptors in the brain..
at lower doses its more of a speedy buzz, but clear headed with no cognitive hindering, when taken at higher doses it enduces euphoria and a general sense of well-being, and sometimes it will make you itch just like a 'real' opiate, and from my experience with kratom, its good for work or study at low doses.

damn I hope some more of my kratom seeds germinate, 1 has germinated so far in the last three weeks so I guess the seeds where too old...

Check out www.kratom.nl or www.mitragyna.com:

Kratom contains a number of alkaloids, of which mitragynine is believed to be responsible for most of its effects. Mitragynine is an opioid agonist, meaning that it has an affinity for the opioid receptors in your brain. These receptors influence one’s mood and anxiety. Mitragynine binds to these receptors and improves your mood and gives a euphoric-like feeling, just like opiates such as heroin and opium. The big difference between kratom and opiates is that mitragynine prefers so-called delta opioid receptors, while opiates bind to mu opioid receptors. At higher doses, mitragynine increasingly stimulates mu receptors. This is believed to be the reason that kratom has a stimulating effect at lower doses and narcotic effects at higher doses, and that it is not (strongly) addictive.

sounds like a step for heroine addicts to take to come off...

Yes, see: http://mitragyna.com/en/usage.htm

Opium substitute
In East Asia it is also often used as a substitute for opium when opium is unavailable, or to moderate opium addiction. Mitragynine is used to gradual wean the user off narcotics. Within a few days, the addict would stop use of the narcotic they are addicted to, and the cravings and withdrawal will be moderated by the binding of mitragynine to the delta receptors. Mitragynine could also perhaps be used as a maintenance drug for addicts not wishing to quit but trying to moderate an out of hand addiction. In more recent times, mitragynine has been used in New Zealand for methadone addiction detox. Kratom was smoked whenever the patient experienced withdrawal symptoms, over a 6 week treatment period. Patients reported a visualization effect taking place at night in the form of vivid dreams.
In 1999, Pennapa Sapcharoen, director of the National Institute of Thai Traditional Medicine in Bangkok said that kratom could be prescribed both to opiate addicts and to patients suffering from depression, but stressed that further research is needed.
