http://www.knnv.nl/vliegenzwam/
(sorry site is in dutch only)
last year the Royal Dutch Natural Historic Society (KNNV) asked it's members to look out for Amanita Muscaria
growing in Holland. 2500 people replied, reporting 7000 sightings. Compared to a similar search ten years before, this meant a spectacular rise in the Amanita population. The site features lots of pix, a map of holland with the best places to find it (advice: look under oak trees), lots of trivia (the name vliegenzwam / fly agaric comes from the fact that it was used to get rid of flies by tranquillizing or killing them) and interestingly enough... on the "kiddies page" instructions how to make spore prints!!!!! _____WwhhoooooaaaAAHHHHHH!!!!
