Oke, so here is the story about a dude who lives in The Netherlands.
Let's call him swim.
I't a LONG story, it is about him, his business and howe it was blown to bits.
Swim owns the biggest coffeeshop in The Netherlands.
Y'all know what that is?
That's a sort of cafe, where anyone can buy weed and hash semi legal.
It is marginally allowed for
The allowed stash, that is allowed for such establishments is 500 grams of weed and / or hash.
The problem lies more or less in that fact. At least in swim's story.
It was brutally used against him, but there are more legal issues here and there, you'll see.
Now, the dude had about 2000 customers per day at least.
He could sell them 5 gram per person, per day.
That is what WAS maximum allowed for. At the time this got written (25-03-2010) it is just a mere 3 grams.
Let's say on average they bought 2.5 gram per person.
That's 2000 times 2.5 grams. That's 5 kilo's per day.
So if you sell something, you gotta have the stash to match the demand, right?
Swim is a smart business person, and always made sure he could meet the demands.
He did that with cola, sprite, and yes, cannabis and hash too!
It's like that in gas stations, stores, pharmacy's, cafe's, liquor stores, anywhere?
A cafe, a hard liquor dealer if you will is not allowed just one bottle of whiskey? Even though that one bottle can be lethal?
A store's stash, is based on the amount of customers and what they buy, even a little kid of six knows that.
Swim couldn't do anything else then make sure he always had enough. Like any other sane person would do.
More customers? He threw in some more kilo's and a bit more cola and sprite!
There have been busts along the way. Kilo's here 'n there. No biggie at all.
Nature of the game here in The Netherlands you know.
Swim was ALLOWED to sell it, because he has a permit to run a coffeeshop so if he got busted with a little weed, that's oke!
He would be out of the federal building within an hour. Always.
Now, here is another weird thing about coffeeshops stated in the law:
Any coffeeshop with a permit is allowed to sell the goods BUT:
They are not allowed to buy it. NOBODY is allowed to grow it for him, so he can't legally buy it anywhere.
Buying the goods to sell them is illegal. This is the same for every coffeeshop.
Very sensible rule huh...
This is important to know for you to understand why they could prosecute swim with certain things.
It presents the prosecutor with another attack vector. Trafficing of illegal goods, you'll see.
Now, this one day, there was some weed and hash around in the coffeeshop.
Let's make it 100 kilo. It wasn't but what the hell.
to set the record straight: 200 kilo has NEVER been found in swm's establishment. EVER!
If you would pack 5 gram in one kilo of gold, they would still mark it as a kilo dope.
That's how stupid such type of species are. But on with the story,
there was also some money, nothing weird. The usual you know.
That stash was to be sold A.S.A.P. and yeah, that money, ffs. that was made from selling weed and hash and drinks, how weird is that!
Swim always said he didn't like to walk home or to the bank, alone with a few tons in cash. He felt like a bullseye.
Everyone knows him, and people are killed for less you know. He's not an idiot.
He lived closeby, so he'd rather walk then go with a car, he feels more safe on foot.
And he would not do it everyday, so there was always some money at the coffeeshop.
Just do the math:
7 euro per gram for cheap weed.
2.5 gram per person.
2000 persons a day.
that's about 50.000 euro per day from weed and hash ONLY.
Would you want to carry this home or to the bank every night, in the dark, alone in a city with lots of idiots and crazies in it?
With no weapon for self protection because that is illegal? Where everyone knows who you are?
Knowing that it's partially not your money, but for the bank and county? Would you risk your life to get this money anywhere?
This calculation is also on the low side of the scale.
Weed sold for up to 10 - 12 euro for proper weed. as did hash. People bought mostly 5 grams, and 3000 visitors was no exeption.
People had drinks, had something to eat in the restaurant upstairs, bought cigarettes, papers, lighters, etc. You know.
That's a lot of money which swim does not want to carry on him. It has to go to the bank, yes. But not every day.
People also do not buy gasoline every day. They fill their car up once it is needed.
Swim can't see why the money was such a big problem. They kept mentioning it in the media...
But anyway, at one random day he got a visit from the piglets along with the D.A. AGAIN!
And some specialist looking dudes which were quite heavy build and would knock anyone down that would be a problem so it seemed.
Swim knew where they were from. They don't have such type of pig species where he lives, so he knew exactly what was going on.
Where swim lives there are only little piglets who fine little kids who goto school with no lights on their bikes and that sort of sad things.
So seeing these huge well equiped pig species, he knew it was for real and not just a little show like usually.
One thing about the netherlands is, that they don't point a gun in your face when they ask you something or want to arrest you.
They're quite humane like that, but this doesn't make up for their stupidity in any way
God knows how often those bastards have come knocking in total in all these years to display their little meaningless show...
Everyone got arrested, customers were let out one by one and interrogated for asfar needed.
Personel was taken into custody, swim too ofcourse.
The biggest coffeeshop in Europe was closed!
This time it was for real. Everyone could feel it.
Swim knew it right away when those fuckers from the city *****, 100 kilometers further away came busting in.
The coffeeshop had a good restaurant on the top floor, overlooking the boulevard and river.
A lot of people were, still are $%^&*(&^ jealous of that location.
It's priceless
All closed. Bye bye income for everyone, including the staff.
It has been closed since right before christmas 2009, altough the restaurant has been open off and on,
making hardly any fucking money to live from.
All his possesions were taken, all his money was gone. Bank accounts, etc.
He was put into custody, the staff was set free, and given some of the money to pay their salary.
This also took a rediculous amount of time, to get the staff their money so they could buy food for their families.
It was sickening.
It also has been to court. Media say it is a gigantic case, never matched!
But you know, they blow everything out of proportion as usual.
Swim thinks it was just some weed and hash. Nothing special.

He's not impressed at all...it takes alot more to impress "King Cannabis".
The demands were clear:
One and a half year prison, and 28 million euro fine.
The judge, however ruled otherwise:
16 weeks prison, and 10 million euro fine.
Now that's pretty nice huh
This was mostly based on the fact that, without the help of the county the coffeeshop was in,
it could have never grown that big. The county just let swim roam free untill they felt like shutting him down.
There were never warnings coming from the authorities that the business should slow down.
Everyone knew about it.
People came from two countries far to get the weed and hash there.
They actually drove 600 - 700 or more kilometers to buy swim's weed and come visit his high tech coffeeshop
The bank account was a legal one, and all earned money made was put into it.
So anyone could see how well business was,
The tax office, tha bank, the county, all could see how well things were going.
yet no warnings?
Also, the staff got struck REALLY hard by those stupid bastards.
In their personal lives especially. It was their jobs to stand behind a bar and sell drinks and some cannabis.
Or cook food or serve food in the restaurant, whatever. Lot's of people worked for swim.
They had no job anymore and believe swim, if you never been through it, it will hit you psychologically
and remain with you for a long time if they come busting in with the thunder to ruin your life and business.
Today they still insist on the fact that there was more then 500 grams, and it was VERY wrong, and a HUGE problem.

But honestly, that's just laughable, 'cause 500 gram was gone within an hour.
What's the use of a gd. store if it runs out of goods within an hour after opening?
Also, they say that swim has been trafficing back and forth cannabis, cause it needs a way to get to the shop.
They also say he must have processed it aswell, to become ready for selling.
Well that's just great, huh?
Swim can sell it, but not buy it, like explained earlier.
So therefore logically, to have it, must also mean to traffic illegal goods at one moment or another.
And swim is not a backstabbing rat, so sure. He did it. What else is new
It must be a really clever genius, which primary skill is to outline the obvious which came up with that huh!
Now today, swim is still stuck with this ten million euro fine, which he thinks they should stick it where the sun doesn't shine,
because swim was screwed over by loads of people from the beginning.
All busts before that (he doesn't know HOWmany.) were just to satisfy the people living in the coffeeshop neighbourhood
They never got anything out of it then a bunch of annoyed, pissed off people and a load of paper work for themselves.
Swim has been waited out, untill there was enough that would hold in court against him.
The neighborhood people there, a highly christian type of species, had made a conspiracy again his business also.
They made a petition with all of their kind together in the area.
Yeah that's right, for such shit they come crawling from under their rock in large amounts.
They put down complaints about how people parked everywhere,
did this, and that, such and so.
They blamed it all on swim's coffeeshop.
Even though a cafe was closer by, and yes, another coffeeshop was also closer by then swim's!
They demanded that swim's coffeeshop had to go.
Because of THEIR rights, and also because visitors to the theatre closeby would not notice these hoodlums anymore?
Wtf?
Those theatre visitors are probably worth more then people visiting coffeeshops...
They send the petition to the gd. county, and well, you've just read the rest.
That just made the whole thing tumble.
In the end, swim doesn't care. You win some you loose some, but it's just the little things that are soo crooked
that piss him off really bad. Not the money. Who the hell cares about money man this screwed up world.
Gotta have some, but loads doesn't make you happy. Really, it doesnt.
It only brings more problems and taxes to pay.
On a final note,
The netherlands is supposed to be a democracy.
A democracy should be the voice of the people reflected on the country with opportunities all equal for all.
Swim can see hardly any opportunities if you don't have money.
Swim only sees the voice of christians reflected over the country.
Are there too many already? Or is there something else going on which makes them overrule all other normal people...
Howcome people which blindly believe in something that does not exist,
are thought to be fit for leading a country? They are being led themselves by folklore and this therefore,
is the proof their judgement is highly clouded and not inline with the real, progressive world.
