In reading around the website here I saw this trip reports section and got to wondering how else I could interact with the community considering that I dont take chemicals to trip anymore. Probably wont see me in any of the various plant and chemical forums considering I actually find most chemicals short of caffeine to mess up my rhythms. I did however consider the idea that I do have what I consider more 'trip like' trips from time to time and different lengths that have the unique characteristic of actually being in the form of a 'trip'!
By trip I mean that each 'experience' has the overall theme of my being a wing leader in a group of space ships flying to the top of a mountain.
Each experience seems to be that of a 'mission' in which we are rescuing people from the depths of a massive pit and bringing them to the top of a mountain. Along the way we stop inside a cave which is kind of a rest/refuel area to recover from the climb out of the pit and prepare for the ascent up the mountain. The cave itself is a fully protected zone where nothing 'evil' can get into it of any sort.
The people that are with me in other ships or in my ship are a different combination every time with some regulars and most of the time the people in the pit that we are gathering are not known by name to us though we see them later on as part of future missions sometimes.
I typically find myself in a leadership role teaching the other flight leaders tricks of the trade as it were however there are definitely specialists in the group that know far more then me and we trade off and borrow each others abilities as needed.
This is the 'basic paradigm' of each trip and then each trip takes on unique characteristics that are somewhat harder to explain.
If any of you have read the bible you will know there are two particular books known as the apocalyptic writing of Revelations and Daniel. The writing in these two books is extremely controversial and fought over by just about anyone who takes serious the ramifications of what they might mean. I dont intend to convey their particular importance here only that the core experience of these trips of mine are extremely similar in nature to the writing style of those books.
In a way it could be categorized as an excessively metaphorical communication medium where by I/we are interacting with the collective consciousness through the thoughts, memories and experiences, of those involved. Poke a node here, watch it ripple a few nodes over then catch the wave that starts to propagate etc. Like I said, heck to explain lol.
I'm not entirely sure how else to explain this except that now that I know it might actually be interesting to see if I can share some specifics I might try and find a way to record some of the future ones that are more prominent and defined and see if I can project them into this digital medium. (The harder ones would be the ones that are actually interlaced throughout my day and for example I will be out somewhere at a store or something and can of peaches and think of a particular person that I know that likes peaches and all of a sudden for a split second I can see myself in the shuttle with 'Peaches' flying next to me, or heading out on her own mission or whatever.)
Anyway, guess that's just an intro. Dont know if I will ever get past that, but figure I might try.
