Marc is actually right. Cooking with cannibutter is better then actually cooking with the bud or hash alone. The fats in the butter hold the THC better then the actual product (brownies, cookies, etc)..
Here is the recipe that has been sitting on my refrigerator for about a year now:
Bud Butter Recipe (Marijuana Butter)
Ingredients:
1 lb of butter
60-70g of Marijuana Leafs
Directions:
Melt 1 lb of Butter in a sauce pan. Once butter is melted add 60-70 grams of Marijuana leaves. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes until the butter starts to get a green color. You can cook it for a bit longer if you would like until the desired level of "greenness" is achieved. You then must pour all the butter through a very fine strainer. Try to keep the marijuana leafs at the edge of the pan so they don’t fall in the strainer. Make sure you push hard on the strainer to make sure you get all your butter through. Chill and serve.

Here is a great tip: THC boils at 392 degrees Fahrenheit so when you are going to bake with the butter cook around 330 degrees to avoid a loss of THC.
