memory is just a little part of intelligence, memory is not intelligence.
it's very normal for kids to have high IQ's, they can top 200 or more. IQs and the rest of the bubble usually decrease and stabilize as social imprints are produced and fortified.
besides, IQ's are just too boring. like counting how many pube hairs you have.

memory has nothing to do with IQ
but things like this are amazing ^^
I remember some autists have an incredible memory, juste like they can remember everything of evertday of their live ... or one who has all the US phone numbers&names in his memory ^^
anyway , having an high IQ (or memory) doesn't mean having a spectacular life

Not surprisingly the boy is from India.
Here's an example of another boy from India, who lived during the first half of the 20th century:
"At the age of only seven Bimala Prasad Datta, who was later to be known as Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati, had memorized all seven hundred verses of the Bhagavad-gita and could explain each one."
Later he learned English by locking himself up for two weeks and memorizing an entire dictionary.
The problem was that when he grew up he became an extremely pushy preacher, not surprisingly celibate for life. I didn't like him at all. I guess he was a bit autistic, as were some of his most devout followers, like Bhaktivedanta Swami, the founder of the Hare Krishna movement.
