Shrooms in Europe

:?: Hi folks,
can anybody help me by telling me if there is any psychoactive fungi in the area of mid-south europe (slovenia, austria..) to be found in nature? I didnt find much about it on the web. I live in a village with fields, woods, river, all kinds of menour all over the place (cows, horses...). Which species of shrooms could i hunt (if any) and where?

Yes , look now and till the first ground frost for Psilocybe Cyanescens in the woods and Psilocybe Semilanceata on fields that have not been cultivated = ploughed or given fertilizer. Especialy sheep fields .

Get yourself a lot of information about the species GOD mentioned so that you know for shure you don't have wrong ones.

Perhaps buy a psylocibine and psylocine test.

Good idea , but $$$$ , if you look in the picture gallery there are some pictures of Psilocybe Cyanescens , and then look in a few books and the net for more information and pictures of both of them . If they look the same just press the stems and if they go blue its what you are looking for .

You don't want to lay in your bed thinking it is your fault that you denied the growth of new mycelium

Good thought about the spores though , with P.Semilanceata they are mostly gone 4 hours after the caps open . With the P.Cyanescens just shake them a lot when you pick them .

Yes , its a bit like playing musical chairs and i`m dizzy trying to keep up with you all !!!

The only spores that i thought could be spread with legs were Candida Albicans with open legs !!!
