Peyote location in the US of A.

I live in the frozen north of Maine so I rarely hear about peyote let along get the chance to try it for myself. This coming fall I will be moving to Prescott, Arizona (right in the middle of the state). So, I was curious if psychodelic cacti can be found or grown in that area.

i was out in colorado for a while.. no peyote out there tho.. the winters get really damn cold. you might be able to find some spots close to mexico, but yeah.. i figure youll have better luck with trichocereus cacti, they grow very well in that area.

Peyote is an endangered species in USA. I would not recommend picking these wild plants there, better to let them live!
