Hallo
The five peyotes that are under my care are growing and flowering but one of them is under attack.
Apperance: like real real small bugs
Colour: white and greyish
Behavior: kreeping and crawling on top and sneaking in a peyote. Smart enough to run away when i want to crush them with my feather. I use a feather to kill them and its easy to sweep them out of the whole in the centre of this beauty. Also i use my index finger and thumb to kill them.

Does any one have good tips for this alien encounter?
Don't have a camera for further evidence. Sites about this matter are welcome too. Don't know what to google

Thank you for your time.

are they wooly/fluffy?

or, are they like little white flies with transparent wings?

or, do they jump like fleas?

They are not wooly fluffy, like white flies or jumpy as fleas.
Dont know if thats a good thing but your prime suspects are free to go.
Even with a magnifying glass it is very hard to look at them. You can see them moving like white dots, and if you come real close you can see its a bug. With my magnifying glass i could only see that they are insect creatures. I guess they are 1mm, in that range. And it looks like the 6legs are on the middle segment of their body. This offcourse is pure speculation. My spy satalite(magnifying glass) which i use to spy in the warzone and look for the identity of this intruders has a limmited range. They have mastered the art of camouflage and are hiding in the bushy middle of this peyote. occasionally they go out for a walk. I dont know if they walk to the bottum of this plant. But i suspect them to. When i discover one outside the centre i tend to kill them as soon as possible. This also doesnt help to find the identity.

This was JosVU for psychonaut headlines. Back to you Tom.

I would think that a light spray with a diluted pesticide wouldn't hurt.

cyclamen mites. use a full strenth shop bought insectiside suitable for food crops. if you dont you will end up with insecticide resistant mites. dont f about. spend the money but make sure it'll work on spider/ cyclamen mites and is suitable for food crops. alternatively put the cacti and pot in a plastic bag for 2 weeks. cyclamen and spider mites need dry conditions because they suck sap, secrete it and let it evaporate to concentrate the sugars. if they cant evaporate it they starve. put the lot in a bag and leave it out of the sun for 2 weeks. that way any eggs that hatch after 5 days will starve too. never use dilute insecticide for mites as they develope imunity very quickly. google cyclamen mites

Good idea........ but it wont work with peyote . They HATE it wet and humid to .

I just got to see the fotos for the first time . That Peyote is about 3 years old so maybe it will flower soon .

doesnt always work anyway. theyre hard to kill. chemicals!!!!
make sure you use something safe for food crops and suitable for SPIDER MITES. its not what you have but if it works on spider mites it will work on cyclamen mites.

DO NOT DILUTE!!!! use full strengh, then do it again 5 days later, then again 5 days after that.

if you dilute you will breed super mites. trust me on this, ive personal experience of them

ive just looked at god's link, and its a good one
