one of my friends was talking about cocaine and how easy it is to become addicted to and somehow mushroom addiction came up well he said something about getting addicted to mushrooms and i tokd him that wasnt really possible and I thought of a nice analogy I thought I'd share with you guys

"Doing mushrooms is like having sex with a really dumb blonde. It's great when you do it once in while however if you hang around them too much you can't stand the sight of them."

I mean if you were tripping on mushrooms alllll the time I think it would lose some of its specialness

Definitely. I think Mushrooms should be used scarcely mainly for 'spiritual' purposes and doing them all the time would just be like a junkie trying to get high I think.
I suppose like cannabis, mushrooms could be habit forming?

i think that deep thougt/thinking, mind adiction is very posible when useing very often but in my opinion it varies from person to person.i can admit that when smoking cannabis alot and very often i become slightly adictive to that feeling...so i quit smoking for month or two.

I havent tried mushrooms yet (growing some), in cannabis case it could be called some kind of light form of spiritual hedonism (compared to heavy hallucinogens) i guess...or not?

For me that's true. I think the experience is less special, less psychedelic, and definately less entheogenic!
