Hi,

I'm new on this forum, and like to say hi to all.
The reason why I come here is because I recently found out about Ayahuasca and
was fascinated by the results it seems to effect.
All my life i'm sufferering of depression in times of precair situations, so badly that it completely paralizes me. I want to get rid of it.
After some research I found out that there are about 4 places in holland that you can go to, but are quite out of range for me to get to.
I red that there are places in Belgium ( where I live ) so I'd like to find out where
I can find them. I realize that discretion is a must but I hope you can give me some advice around this matter. It would be graitle appreciated.
Oh,i'd like the guidance of a sjamaan during the sessions.
Hope you can help me out here.
many thanks,
Soulfounder.

Hi there.

First... I want to say this, and don't take any negativity from it! Ayahuasca is not a cureall. It will not do what you want it to, instead, it will do what its meant to do, and show you some things. You will have to take a very strong dose to get where you want to be, and it may be very painful to rationalize what you see. On the other hand, it can be very beautiful, some of the most beautiful realizations of your life may occur. You have to be ready for the best and the worst. I would advise NOT going into the ceremony expecting to be cured, but rather go in with an open mind to accept all of Ayahuasca's challenges.

I wish you the very best, and yes a shaman would be a very, very wise idea!

Good luck, and stick around.

Welcome!
Before trying Ayahuasca you might consider the following:
1.Make sure to quit any medications that could possible conflict with Aya prior to drinking [in some cases, prior could mean as long as a month before the ceremony].
2.Please be aware of the fact that all psychedelics can exacerbate current and/or latent psychological problems. It COULD get worse.
3.Do an extensive research on the matter.

On a final note-it's up to you whether to have a shaman or not, but if it's hard to find one or you experience other problems regarding participation in the ceremony, you can easily brew Ayahuasca yourself and use a good friend/relative as a sitter.
And by the way, have you taken any substances before?
