i have a mushroom kit and the temprature in my house is lower than the mush nead what about that? sould i whait for the mush grow or it"s not worth it"s my first time that i grow my one and i don"t now well..

Well, if you don't want to turn on the heat, here are a couple of things you can do.

1. Create a separate compartment for the mushrooms that heats on its own. This might be too expensive if you only grow mushrooms this one time, but in the long run it is cheaper than heating your room to 23 degrees constantly.

2. If it's spawning right now, wait until they are somewhat big and they start spreading spores. Then pick them and put the kit in the fridge until it gets warmer. This might be a bet against contamination, but it might work.

3. Put them on the warmest place in your house (not directly over a heater, though) and pray for them.

Here are some older images from a grow kit I had, within a plastic box with water at the bottom, heated by an aquarium heater to 26 degrees. The grow kit itself was standing on a raised platform, just above the water.

Looks great, CM!
And cheap, too!

Was the temparature in the box 26 degrees as well? I think this is a bit high for cubensis. How was the yield?

No, the temperature in the box was a little lower. I experimented with different temperatures, and 26 degrees worked very well. The yield was very good, but I don't remember how much exactly.

If it's only a little cooler than what the mushrooms need for optimal growth, then it won't matter much. Let's say you have 18°C then the mushrooms will grow a little slower, but they will grow unless it's below 16°C or so. And I really hope you don't have to live in a house where it's below 16°C ;)
