Sure Mumu I guess it would have been a mix... it's logical, but the soma is also the mushroom alone, it was refered as the root of the experience if I recall well.

I was looking for a better transliteration of the above cited Rig Veda verse. Though I didn't find it, I did find this:

It would make sense some are badly translated... I even suspect sometimes people were paid to give us bad translations.

I wrote to a few of them underlining BLATANT errors in their french - english translations. None of them replied...

I mean they twisted it around and wrote some things that weren't even there in the first place... like the person that translated it didn't even know french !

Yes as medicine... sadly I am back in my parents basement and I do not have much freetime nor the health to experience more, I guess I most definately would.
