Hi people, i started growing some mycelium 2.5 days ago (syringe inoculation). I have tried to keep things cleaned as much as i could during that process (you know, sterile gloves, nicely cleaned the table whit nothing around it, breath mask and shit...).I pasteurised the jars (vermiculite, water and brownrise flour mixture -2:1:1 )before for about 80-90 minutes on the light water boiling stove setting in the cooker (zepter). Its my first try (and i have left some spores in a syringe ,cubensis, for one more try...) so i dont expect alot. I have cakes (10) now on the desk which lies on the electric radiator. Even though its not quite warm season, i try to give them the least growing temperature and to keep them on the very dark place (box). So i would like to know when is the time to dump a cake, if none of mycelium growth is shown and could the semi-good quality of vermiculate from holland be crutial for mycelium growth? Any help would be nice. One more thing, if i did something wrong in mentioned growing technics, i would like to be warned so i dont make the same mistake the next time. All advices, experiences about the mater and warnigs about the things to be careful with on my 3/2 of a month long adventure, would be very appriciated. Thanks
