I just happen to be in Egypt (long story...) and today I was having a psychedelic experience of its own:
I went to a Robinson's Club party (which is some German upper-middle-class vacation club) and it was horrifying. I think this is what hell would look like, if it existed...
Guys with stand-up collars ("my daddy is rich!") dancing disco fox with posh chicks to really bad house-y kind-a pop music.
So, I went back to to the golf-hotel where I'm staying, and had a large glass of single malt whisky to recover ;)
Seriously, I'm at a 5-star golf hotel, and it's actually pretty fun because I'm getting paid for being here (I'm filming a tournament). Not fun like real fun, but more fun than normal work.
The golfers are actually pretty cool, mostly - not like the posers at the robinson's club tonight (whoa, I still don't know if I want to laugh or rather puke when I think about it...)
