So... I've read about this plant here and there, ancient pictures of it and bible quoting... I mean, a really interesting plant!

But I know no one who has tried it, and I even can't find nowhere on the net.

Have you tried it?
What do you think about, i'ts worth all the work for tring to get some?

No .

at the first or the second question?

Mandrake contains hyoscyamine and scopolamine, so it will cause deliriums like Datura and Brugmansia. High doses may result in dead.

I think it' not easy to dose mandrake (i think one needs the root of the plant? i can be wrong in this though)...

Probably you've read this:
http://www.erowid.org/plants/mandrake/mandrake.shtml
if u didn't, there are some trip-reports and some information about mandragora, so maybe read that first..

You should search mandrake in context with wicca knowledge, witchcraft or magic. Seems that mandrake contains relatively less atropine, so it sedates more than belladonna and datura and is probably less risky for the heart. This also comes back into the experience vault of erowid where people reports less hysteric experiences and more entering an erotic dream world.

Powerful aphrodite it is in the right dose, especially with wine. But the knowledge is minor about brews.

Yes Shamanita, I've read on erowid all the experiences and info, but was curious for hear someone here :D

The indole alkaoloids are the same as belladonna, I know, but... well, maybe the 'til-now-known. The experiences seem to be different in many ways, maybe just because of different concentration, don' t know.

Thanks for the link, it looks also quite cheap =)
Just I have to ask them if it's mandragora officinarum or Podophyllum peltatum, the "american" mandrake, quite different

If you've watched the henbane episode of sacred weeds, you'd have seen that both guys had a pleasant trip in where they got flashes around their eyes as in a dream. They got the right dissolution in a good amount of juice.

However, it has been demonised so much because many started doing teaspoons. Never ever go above 3 raw seeds, preferable 1 or 2. And then go to take a nap. If more attempts have failed on seperated occasions, pick them from another plant.

In tradional use, raw material was never used because of the serious anticholinergenic effects, it was just one ingredient of many in a cooked brew. Cooking or boiling in a royal amount of water makes the concentration weaker and therefore, it slightely reduces the chances of being poisened. Although there's no info about how many you'd need. But I reject those who're putting up 20 seeds in a coffee filter and then come up about how shitty datura was to them.

It definitely has potential if you'd read more outside drugs sources. Oral use of raw seeds is not about a low dose, but about tiny amounts and deep meditation.

"If you've watched the henbane episode of sacred weeds,"

You watched at least 1 to many TV programs . Tell us about your experiences with it ? Or is it just more empty blah , blah from someone dangerous who hasnt got a clue about the subject and hasnt got any experience . You do it and we will film it so that you dont get to harm anymopre people with your personal theorys , theorys that you are to cowardly to personaly try .

Wiches and wicca didnt have anything to do with henbane and there are no historical records that they did .

The most interesting effects of solanacaes are the ones they have on an Internet forum.

there is a long history of mandrake being used in wichcraft throughout europe

Please prove it . With proof .
