how does it work?

The images are sliced and copied next to eachother, then a filter leaves out the other images and when you move the filter the image seems to move.

I saw this thread but didn't look at the link, I just watched it on another site though and, OMFG THATS AWESOME! I'm buying that book DEFFINATELY and trippin out all my friends after a couple hits of acid.
