Le premier test clinique humain au LSD depuis les années 70

L'association MAPS, la Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies, vient de conduire une étude sans précédents: une étude en double-aveugle avec LSD (200µg) et "placebo" (20µg). Bien que l'échantillon testé soit réduit (12 personnes en phase terminale souffrant d'anxiété), les résultats sont très prometteurs:

Overall, while encouraging, the results of this small exploratory pilot study have demonstrated
clinically significant improvements in anxiety but are not sufficient to demonstrate statistically
significant treatment efficacy.

Though the LD50 of LSD in humans is not exactly known, it is estimated to be in the range 0.2 mg/kg to over 1 mg/kg, i.e. for an 80 kilogram person, between 16mg and 80mg.
