Is it possible to smoke or vaporize chaliponga?

I've ordered some chaliponga thinking I could prepare Ayahuasca, but then I discovered I nedd to have another plant to prepare it or it wouldn't have any effect( please tell me if it's true or not, cause I'm not totally shure about that). What I'd like to know is if it is possible to smoke it or vaporizing it, without needing to extract DMT from it.
