I was hoping to gain some insight into this latest DMT experience from people who understand the process rather well.

I'm no stranger to psychedelics, i've had alot of high dose's of liquid LSD over the past few years, along with mushrooms and other exotic psychedelics.

Although i suppose i'm rather new to DMT, i've only experienced it 4 times. The last dose i had was a blend of crystal and herbal.. it was smoked through a bong (unfortunately the only smoking apparatus at the time) and to give an idea of the dose the bowel/cone piece was almost full.

I took the entire dose in 1 hit, held it for 10'ish seconds.. exhaled.. closed my eyes and surrendered myself to the drug. I wanted to experience it with my eyes closed in an effort to get a more intense experience.. i watched the pattern behind my eyes comes into effect before transcending through some form of a tunnel.. the ambiance and noise around me faded out as though i was traveling away from my point within this galaxy.. as i went deeper through this tunnel.. all noise around my physical body ceased to exist.. the tunnel became more vivid and multi-dimensional i could feel some type of presence guiding me through.. the deeper i went the more knowledge was revealed to me.

I came to a point however, where it was shown to me that everything i consider to be 'real' is completely manufactured by my own consciousness, that i am essentially all alone.. and i'm just one piece of a united consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. I found this hard to comprehend at first and forced myself to open my eyes to check weather i was still 'here'.

As i opened them, everything just looked like a deep-mass of vibrational energy.. i could hear whispers, i couldn't make any of them out though.. i could see what seemed like a DNA strand winding its way through the fabric of reality.. i couldn't speak, move or act for about 30mins.. i had to force who i was back into me, i felt the pieces of my personality slowly come back over 25mins or so.. as i started to finally come back, i began shaking uncontrollably for about 5mins.. not sure why..

Does any of this sound familiar to what most experience on DMT? I feel like there's still more to uncover.. and that i interrupted something just as it was about to happen by opening my eyes.. which has led me to obsess over what it was.. what was next, what was just over that horizon..

lazarusx a dit:

The shaking is common to all holotropic states, regardless of the substance or method of inducing them. Whenever you feel a limb or the body shake, just let it happen. Certain tensions could be released this way. Thirty minutes sounds like an exceptionally long time for smoked DMT.

I don't think you interrupted anything by opening your eyes, as that decision was simply part of the process. A true interruption would have been an external factor (if there really is such a thing), like someone walking into the room or a loud airplane flying over. The only hazardous interruption I know of is the administration of tranquilizers during a 'bad trip'.

So far no one took any practical revelations back from the DMT flash, so don't think you missed out on anything. There's nothing beyond the horizon you needed to see at the time, nothing you needed to uncover.

sounds to me like you got where you needed to be. dont worry about trying to iron out the details as soon as you can, things is, you'll ALWAYS be left with questions. but every now and then (call me crazy) you'll hear a phrase, a word, or even a sound, or experience some totally unrelated event and something about the experience just "clicks", feels right and that "gentle guiding" feeling comes back if but for a split second. i think that that is the "hppd", the "dejavu", it brings you right back to a moment in the experience, it's synesthesia, but I THINK, it's a beautiful reminder. am i rambling mad or does somebody ELSE know what i mean as well?

too many people taking drugs that dont need to be taking drugs, thats why we have terms like hppd... sad.
