i am glad that lady S started to treat you nicely. as you see, you don't need to abuse her, there's no point in that. just take care now that you know how to do it, and don't overdo your dosage, since you are tripping alone.
IMHO,i prefer to do smaller amounts, and with SD, once you "learn" how to reach those gates you are talking about, you will need less and less plant material/extracts.
your results may vary, though. some people do not report this inverse tolerance, and although it is currently stated in many places, trips are very different from person to person. one thing i can add is that the salvia trip is very dependant on the setting, much more than on the set (this happened in all my trips...so it is my experience, not necessarily yours).

One advantage of quidding/tincture is that there is no smoke or scent that could cause people to wonder what's going on.

I still say you need to slow down more. In the past, powerful psychoactive substances were in a sense "legal," but access was restricted. Only those who had been initiated into shamanism or religious mysteries were allowed to partake.

This wasn't just because people wanted to hoard the power of these plants for themselves. Anything powerful must be used with care. Especially if it is more powerful than you.

In our culture, these traditions have been lost, and you don't get much guidance. It's as if no one taught you to drive but you found a car with the keys in it and no one around to stop you from taking it for a drive.

Maybe it would be better just to wait until you're older, but if you just can't resist the temptation to take your mind for a ride, at least heed the advice to go slow.

Hah. I think I'm old enough. Living with parents b/c I attend local college, until I transfer.
Salvia is so great and I believe it helped me a lot already. I noticed lift of mood (after that first crazy trip), and started enjoying my "job" more (tutoring students in Calculus).
Of course, it might not because of Salvia at all, but I don't know what to blame it on. :D

Again, thanks for your advice guys!
