Hello everybody, what are your interests?

I just joined the club and would like to find some people who have the same hobby's as me.

Off course I'm interested in expanding my conciousness, I read a lot on the subject and heve seen my personality change drastically since I started experimenting.

Writers like Huxley, Tolkien, Weis & Hickman, Leary, Dickens. IN short writers who dare tangle with life and everything in it, philosophical questions interest me a lot.

What is good? What is Bad?

Artists like Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Radiohead, The Doors and Jimi Hendrix changed my life.

Psychoactive substances like Mushrooms, Ayahuasca, Mescaline, Lsd-25 and such are tools to release the 'power and knowledge within' I think.

I'm looking for people with similar interests and perhaps psychonauts who live in Zuid - Limburg or in the direct surroundings.

Hello!Well,i read all the autors that you said above and share some of your interests in music as well.And saw my life and personality change after starting with psychoactives as well.I think nothing is bad in a psychoactive experience,even a bad trip can be a worthy lesson to learn,and usually it´s about yourself.I love to trip in nature,just nature,music,myself and some friends.I usually trip listening to Mahavishnu Orchestra,TerraKota,Goatrance,FusionJazz,tribal,chill out,ambient,ethnic music and lots of others.I think that a trip is always what your mind really wants it to be! /forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I see a trip as a the ultimate question to myself, what do I want, what do I need and how can I achieve those things in a positive way. I sometimes feel frustrated by the negative way some people handle their problems but often fail to be any kind of help to them. I have a lot of problems expressing the wondurfull feelings I often have about nature and true human nature.

I believe in the power of people, but not in the power of our politics, or politicians. As Acid_burn said, our specie must be greater than what we are seeing today, and that we nowadays are a virus...
We should open our minds, but this is against the governamental ideologies, that try to keep us doing and acting as they choose...

I have also experienced a (very positive) change in mentality/perspectives/... since I started to use psychoactive substances.
So far I've only tried pot and mushrooms, but I'm interested in other substances as well.
I think psychoactive substances (well, at least mushrooms) are a "helper" in "finding out about life" (writing down what you think/feel is quite hard !!!).

To bernard marx: I live in Alkmaar, but I've experienced my strongest trip yet in zuid limburg, last summer. I really like the enviroment there!

Every trip I had was in nature, because being in nature gives a much more "natural" feeling (no - realy?).Over the last months I've found that I like smoking pot in nature better as well, rather than hanging around the house, altough I appriciate the abilty to smoke in a shop, when weather conditions are very bad.

You know, once I eared to Moby talk, and he said that everyday he is becoming more "moderate". That's what I feel as well. With the pass of time, I am becoming more moderated, and not so extremist. As all in nature, and nature should be the scale for most things we do, everything is "moderate". All the ecosystem should work and live just fine, if it weren’t us, who spoil everything with our greed. We should think more about the others, the nature, the life, and most of us do exactly the contrary. We need to chance our way to be in this world, and the way we treat each other.

smoking the plant:
small doses: it is relaxant for one hour.
normal doses: secondary effects are there:
eyes-pupil dilated, disorder of vision , far things are seeen normaly, u cannot read anything (), you become Photophobic,
and also dryness of the mouth,
u cannot eat anything, u have to drink (but only few mL of water, cause oedi's spincpher is closed).

then with higher doses (hallucinogenic)
total amnesia:
u can forget everything what u are doing, what u did, who you are.
u can do anything, nothing is too stupid for someone who has taken datura,
-->u've got to learn controls while the trip.
you dont know if the things u see in your dreams are real.
it is the only one real psychotic inducer.
it is the higher trip.
it is the far most dangerous too.

the effects are there for 12h, or more (35h usually)
after 48h, u can read again (back-effects on the eyes stop)
u can do normal things again, after 35-48h.
u can sleep normally () after 48h.
if u take a too high dosage, the effects can be there for all your life. :-((

personnally, i ate an antiparkinson-medication: TRIHEXYPHENIDYLE CHLORHYDRATE i took 15mg or 20mg i dont remember.
and i smoked some datura plant: with TRIHEXYPHENIDYLE CHLORHYDRATE there are less back-effects, it is more hallucinogenic, and u can nearly read if u call upon a certain luck

datura plant: it is dangerous cause some plants are very very highly dosed (datura inoxia), and somes are less dosed(datura stramonium = datura metel)

the product that azrius sells: I dont know since how many seeds it is really dangerous.
note: lsd bad trip is really peace and love compared to datura

In my hometown i know at least three spots (one is inside my old history teacher´s house garden) where datura grows free,but i don´t know from wich strain it is,are there a lot of diferent Datura strains?
I´ll try to find wich is the strain found in Portugal,and then i´ll try to find info on the strain,to see if it´s safe to use this one.By the info described above it´s an Overwhelming Trip for sure.

there is one good way to know if it is datura:

take 1cm² on a leaf on the plant:

crush it in your hands, ---> to obtain a wet thing.
then, with few mL of water, put the liquid extract with the water in one of your eyes.

if it is datura, your eye goes very large in a few minutes.
(pupil expansion appears in 10min with atropine and scopolamine, with only 0.01mg or less)

your eye will stay like that for 5-6hours.
