Seen purple squids?

It's been about an hour since I last tripped and I gotta say it was a fun one ^.^

I was playing a hard trance remix of Beethoven's "Ode To Joy" which may or may not be a good idea with the heavy thumping bass but I wanted to see what it would do to the trip.

Anyway, I was doing 1 bowl of 10x as I ran out of 20x the night before. I was sitting outside during the night with my buddy Evan and we were just trippin' the rift of life like normal, or as normal as it can get heh.

After holding the smoke in for 30 seconds, I started feeling heavy so I started the music and placed the earbuds in. Immediately, I felt like I was thrown into a large Airplane hangar, the doors were open and I could see clear, bright blue sky beyond, which was strange because as far as Evan says, I was staring at the night-time sky above me.

The "real" world completely vanished and I was consumed by the vivid blue sky in front of me and the steel that I seemed to be surrounded by. As the bass thumped in my ears I saw 11 small purple squids flying planes that looked like Soap bars and they flying these things around my head. To the beat of the song they rose and fell in space, shooting small strings of bubbles at each other and squeaking when they got hit.

I looked down at my boots and saw more squidies in tanks that chased each other around my boots, again to the beat of the song. I felt a presence by me and looked up and I saw what i can only describe as Dr. Robotnik (or Eggman) from Sonic standing next to me and he was eating a pretzel.
He said "funny thing these Egyptians...wouldn't you agree?" And I remember just shaking my head. I looked back at the squids and they all inflated before bursting into a large cloud of color that gradually faded, along with whatever world I was in.

I found myself sitting in my backyard laughing hysterically.
It felt like I was gone for a few weeks but Evan timed it and I was only gone for 35 seconds...anyone else experienced this quick of a trip :?:

I've never tried Salvia, but tell me... when you have trips like you describe, does it literally FEEL like you're there? Or is it like... in the back of your mind you are still able to think, "this isn't actually happening, I'm not really here."

My (only two) successful salvia trips have been characterized by not realising that what I was experiencing was veeery far out until a few minutes into the trip.
For example, I'd inhale deeply, hold the smoke in, ask my friend with gestures how long I've been holding the smoke, end up at a kind of energy market, have the left half of my body-personnality-mind being dissolved in a swirl, exhale, fight mentally agains energy bodies to avoid being sold, REALISE I'M TRIPPING, continue fighting and trying to recover my left half, attempt to figure out gravity and understand why my face is exploding, and slowly come back to Earth, struck with awe...

I don't know if it comes with experience, but the realisation that I'm not in the ordinary space does not make the salvia space any less real at the moment. It's kind of like waking up at someone else's place in the dark and not noticing it's not my own bedroom for a few minutes, only the salvia space is much more intense than my friend's couch.

to anwser your question if you actually know whats going on.. the anwser is no! i found half the time i smoked salvia, after taking my hits i completely forgot that i had any salvia in my system.. which sometimes made the trips not to enjoyable.. just trying to peice together what the fuck is going on. iv had lots of good trips and lots of bad ones.. iv been shot up into hyperspace blasted into a million particles being shot across the universe, been apart of lord of the rings.. iv been superman flying around, seen some pretttttty messed up things. although it only takes one BAD trip to be able to toss it away and say im never touching this shit ever agian. up untill the day that hapens, try to enjoy it

the best way i can explain salvia is "its a one sided zipper"

Man, haha. I've seen some--- pretty bizarre things on Salvia, but purple squids! That's amazing, dude.

it must be noted though, that any hallucinogenic drug is different from person to person. There's some dispute/theory-- that these drugs take you to different realities that actually exist. There's also scientific backings which say that it merely disrupts the signals in your brain and make you 'see' things which are very dream-like. I personally think it's a bit of both, really.

That is an awesome trip report grats dude. Ive only ever seen hippopotamus and elephant carousels as 2d visuals with an intense feeling of claustrophobia. Judging from your report though i think ill try again in a different setting

Don't botter, setting has nothing to do with the experience, it's just safer to have a good setting... (meaning can't jump out of a window, fall off ledge etc etc etc)

Salvia is just freaking weird.
