Growing Salvia: Literature and Advice

Hi there,

as the title implies, I want to start growing salvia. For that I have some questions, meaning:

Are there some special books on growing salvia? If yes, I'd be thankful if you'd tell me the autor and the name of the book...

Have you got some advice for me, what I have to look for, special care etc. while growing salvia?

If you can speak German "Salvia Divinorum" by J.Gartz , Nachtschatten Verlag .

If you cant , in a greenhouse thats been painted white , give it loads of water and high humidity and it grows like a rocket , its a weed ! Its quite impressive , a bit like a prehistoric jungle when you stand in a greenhouse full of 3 meter plants . They tend to fall over wich adds to the scene .

Greenhouse out of what? I'll grow it at home...

There's high humidity in the bathroom...is this a reasonable location?

I havent grown any since the start of the 90s but i remember that it doesnt like to much light and it likes it wet . It is realy a weed .

If you have a little patience i think that there are other people here who can tell you more .
