well if you knew you were god you wouldn't search for god.
if you didn't know you were god, but you would search him, then you would most probably not find him.
if you knew where your life came from, you would know you were god.
if you had the impression that you knew where your life came from, you could have the impression to somehow be connected to god or be a part of it.
"god" doesn't exist, if you stick to the most common definition that people give the idea to which they attach this word. or at least not the classical god which is said to be "god" or "the god" which is normally referred to as good, almighty, infinitely merciful, infintely powerful, infinitely intelligent, infinitely just, etc.
i can tell you the image that is created by some people (ironically many times that's christians or similar monotheistic groups) to which they refer to as "god" is blasphemic, simply because they even cross multiple commandments, so how could you ever believe someone who crossed the rules of his own religion and he told you, you should believe in HIS god which is the only "true" god.
yeah: you couldn't do it, because you would probably betray your own god by joining his god and therefore worshipping his god or worshipping his god more than your god?
but then.... if the real god existed referred to as almighty, infitely good, existant-on-all-planes-of-existance etc. then the ONLY POSSIBLE reason why you couldn't join the other religion would be that you didn't want to join it.
so i find it kind of sad that the "church" which is supposed to represent this god, mostly doesn't represent this god anymore. but the sad thing is that the people that "are" the church don't represnt this god anymore, because they forgot what/who/where their god really is. i mean it's not all of 'em but many... the sad thing is that i noticed that even the church works against itself and the conclusion to that would be that it would have become stained and therefore unholy and therefore separated from god.
Moreover it is also sad, that the church has many times in history not represtented this god, but then you can't really say "The Church" fucked it up, because it's the people which were part of the church that acted like ass-holes towards other people however " their most important prophet " (jesus) pointed out that the most important thing would be to care about the "love for one's fellow's men" in order to practise "brotherly love" and "charity" towards their "brothers".
i don't say god exists, but i say if you want to find god, then better expect to find god or maybe you'll find something that claims to be god which is not in all cases to be set equal to god.
the most classical "enemy" of
god is said to be
"lucifer", which means the LightBringer. maybe there's not such huge gap between those two fractions god and satan.
they are both conceptions of the human mind and therefore prone to "errors" if you look at these concepts objectively.
so better find out for yourself or let someone tell you about it, from whom you presume he knows in order to avoid being deluded.
i can't really personally say, that i believe in god. i can say though that i believe in love. if i had to define god i would define it by another word which would be love.
