Hi all,
I just had quite a confusing/wierd/good/bad experience and I thought I'd share it...
Almost 15 days ago I underwent surgery to repair a knee injury, and I was given a general anesthesia...I went to sleep, and when I was waking up I had a terrible experience...everything I knew and thought of as "existence" didn't exist (bad choice of words, sorry), and everything was reduced to that single moment, looping eternely in some kind of time lapse...when I became aware of this I began to panic and spent what I thought was an eternity just merged in deep terror. After all it was only 1 hour, which I knew when I regained conscience...
...last night I had a friend coming over with a bit of hash, which I didn't smoke for quite a while, so I took a few bong hits and just laid back relaxing. The next thing I felt was the anesthesia feeling coming over again, but less powerful (though more "real"), which made me have a terrible night, where I even began to doubt my own sanity and questioning all that I had for granted regarding the so called "existence".
Today everything is gone and, despite a bit of confusion in my head, I was able to analyze my stupidly bad experience and decided to make some research...it seems one of the drugs they have me in the hospital is Propofol, which seems to interact with the endocannabinoid system...being THC what it is...it explained quite a lot and got a heavy weight off my shoulders (I do not particularly like the thought of being mentaly instable lol).
Anyway, probably nothing very interesting but I thought I'd share :wink:
