After throwing away a lot of jars, i finally see success!
These are grown from spores i printed from the growbox.
This my first flush, lots of abhorts, looks like they wont mature. Hope i'll have a few mature to print a bit more.

hey guys!
Only two mushies whent up to maturation for spore printing. I think it was a bit hot (80°F) and got too much loss of humidity because of shitty concave plexiglass lid.
I've got only one cake left in that terrarium, i dunked the three others over night in the fridge in water/bleach and doubled end cased them in my new terrarium. ( I built myself a new terrarium hehe) i'll keep you guys posted.

Meneer : I refreshed the air about 3 to 5 times a day (i think it's too much but i can't help myself, i love watching them hehe). Once a day i spray the plexi lid of the terrarium with h2o/h2o2.

You should spray them everytime after you open the lid. Have fun.

you can refresh every hour, that way your mushies develop much better, like bigger caps

i've been told that misting on fruiting cakes can :
> harm the shrooms and stop there growing action
> leave sitting droplets of water on the cakes that can easy drag contaminants on/in the cakes.
Since i'm using perlite, inner reservoir, double end casing and dunking i thought i did not need to mist. maybe i should...

did you dunk them in water/bleach??? why the bleach?

bleach is to avoid contamns during dunking. Put bleach in clean water in this ratio: 1bleach/150water. Dunking your cakes at this ratio is no danger for them (but really don't put more bleach than this ratio). My dunked cakes look really good, do it after 2nd flush (some do it even before the first flush when colonization time is a bit long, dry cakes)

bleach is "eau de javel", you know what all mothers use to clean and dessinfect kitchens, toilets... Hippies use it also to de-color t-shirts for psychadelic paterns. Dunking means, you take u'r cake out of the terrarium, scratch off the vermiculite that is not part of the cake, try to scratch off all the dead miscelium tissue, then prepare a jar with bleach/water (ratio not over 1/150), submerge u'r cake in the solution, put jar it in sterile bag, then let it sit for approx 18 hours in the fridge. When u take it out clean it under fresh water, put verm on top and bottom and back into the terrarium. That way u'r cake is fully hydrated and will provide u nice flushes. This tek is from a guy named Hippie (a really nice, wise, experienced, respectfull and respected mycologist i got to know in another forum)

is that a hydrometer in your picture or is it just a thermometer. Cause i cant seem to find a damn hydrometer where i live. Does eny one have a clue where i can find one ?! Hydrometer+Termometer would be amazing... but i dont have a clue on where to start looking for it.

no it's just a thermometre. you can find hydrometres (hygrometre) easy in france.
