Hi everybody

I have 5 cocapalnt seeds in my possesion!
I heard a lot from growers, but I want to know what is myth and what is real.

Is it true you should peel off the skin and let it soak in lemonjuice for a 24h hours?
And is it true I should use beach sand and cocopeat to germinate them?
If so, how much cocapeat and how much beachsand?

Where do you have them from ? Are they dry ? Do you know of anyone who has had sucess in growing them ? What did your source say ? Has he grown them from the seeds he suplyed you ? What did they cost ? Which type of coca plant is it = the exact latin name as there is more than one and they have varying amounts of sacraments in them .

I have them from vreeken.nl
And I payed them 10 euro's for 5 seeds
cocagrowers.org was just too expensive

He says I have to soak them in lemonjuice for a night before planting...
I find that weird?

It was deliverd in vermiculite

The one site is VERY expensive . Both dont say which type of coca plants they sell , there are more than one . They look sensible to me so if i were you i`d take their advice about growing . Do you have grow instructions in english ? If you do i`d like to have a copy if its a PDF please .

I`m very interested , please can you keep us informed about exactly what happens and make some of those good fotos you always show us of what you do .

No my man, it's all in dutch!
But I'll keep it updated here!
I promise!

One is meant for bonsai and the others go freely as they grow.
I'll soak them in lemonjuice later and after I want to a gardenshop I'll place them in silversand and cocopeat.
As soon they start sprouting I'll show you a picture!

Thanks . When you got them how did they arive ? Did it say what was in the pack on the outside ? How big was it and how much did it weigh please ?

It came in a A5 envelope and it weights less then 20 grams

I had do reserve them months ago, and I got them today.
And no, they don't say what is in the package on the outside.

However you have to pay AFTER they arrive, and there's an smaller (transparant) envelope on the bigger envelope.
It is transparant and somethimes you can read what you ordered from the outside.
But not this time.

I believe coca plants are legal where I live, but selling them or consuming them isn't. It's a small paradox

from what i understand tea (Camellia sinensis) and coca like the same growing conditions. it may be easier to find information on tea growing and adapt it for your coca

Ok I did some work!

The berry's flesh was easy to remove with my fingernail.
Very easy!
I let it soak in lemonjuice for 12hours now and then plant them in cocopeat and silversand.
