Can anyone help me out on this one?
I have been drinking Elevation 2 weeks a go with some friends. had a fun time, little bit weird, joyful, a bit drunk but not totaly , kinda kept a clear mind. taste was real ok, nothing like absint which i dont like at all. So i have checked some out but still it got my questions. This is how i understand what they are putting in it. They have mixed 35mg/l thujon extracted from wormwood with a vodka and used the minimum amount of alcohol permitted (25%). So.... they claiming you get to the effect before the alcohol just makes you drunk. Can this be? or is it illegal?

I don't know what Elevation is, but since it contains thujone, its effects must be similar to those of absinth.I drank absinth which was claimed to contain 10mg/l, and it was different from "normal" alcoholic drinks.It definitely had some psychedelic qualities. 35mg/l is quite high. However keep ih mind that tolerance to thujone builds up very quickly, so drinking it 2 days in a row is probably a bad idea.Not mentioning thujone is toxic for the liver.
and anything higher than 10mg/l thujone IS illegal in EU.

They have a site but its in dutch www.elevation.eu. The absinth i have has also 35mg and i thought that is alowed now again.

Yeah it's supossed to be legal again, but I wouldn't want to do it too much and too often, because it's heavy on the liver and alcohol is too.
So your liver is working overtime (just like with paracetamol & alcohol)

With that percentage you should've experienced some psychedelic effects the first time...
