Basically saying that many US states are less restrictive than Canada when it comes to marijuana.

Not sure how true that is. There are places in Canada for sure where the police will press charges, but certainly not where I live. People smoke it in the streets regularly, and daily.

Ah, you must be in BC.....I have been there several times, to the Salmo Valley as well as the kootenays....it was a great weed vacation,
surely.

I saw on CNN today that there is now a 'cannabis college' in Oakland
CA, where they are teaching wannabes how to 'enter the lucrative field of being a medical marijuana provider'....they're giving degrees...

That being said, there are several places WEST OF THE ROCKIES where the mentality about cannabis is very open and relaxed.

I hear that there are some areas south of Denver, in Colorado, where the laws are basically non-existant.

Here in Ontario they are pretty rough. Although we all treat it as if it was legal, it is infact not. We walk down the main street smoking, and no one ever says a thing. I think they should just make it legal, who are we harming by smoking a joint? Marijuana has most likly been the casue of many peaceful events, but by making it illegal, the drug trafficing has brought upon violence. MAKE MARIJUANA LEGAL!
