Hey everybody
Last year i spent a wole months in nyc, working in a restaurant, living in a friend's flat, fucking around and shit...And i discovered the art of rolling blunts directly from a dutch, what we don't really in france actually...And, maybe a week ago, i wanted to show my friends how i learnt to roll...So i bought a cigar, but the leave wasn't like the ones i rolled with in the states...
So i was wondering, is there any differencies between cigars and dutches ?

Peace !

What do you mean by "dutch"?

Here in the states we have a brand of cheap cigars called "Dutch Masters" that's really popular for rolling blunts. If that's what you're talking about, then I don't know why it would be any different than the ones you'd buy over here. Another popular brand is "Phillies Blunts".

Personally, I only like blunts if I happen to be in posession of a lot of shitty, shitty weed, but I'll tell you the maniacal irony behind the whole thing....

The two most popular brands are Phillies and Dutch Master. Both companies advertize in High Times Magazine and Cannabis Culture. Now here's the funny part....both companies contribute thousands of dollars every year to anti-drug groups and coalitions. They know that their cigars taste like ass-hole, they know no ones buying them to smoke them as cigars, yet they give tons of money to groups that are trying to increase penalties for posession, growing and distribution. The irony in this situation blows my fucking mind.

Blunts suck. But if you really want to roll; the best way is to go to a tobacco/ cigarette store and buy whole tobacco leaves. They taste much better and burn evenly, and you don't have to dispose of all the unused tobacco.

It's funny, cause over here where smoking is frowned upon, you'll go places and in parking lots see piles of tobacco sitting on the ground next to someone's car. You'll look and say "someone's smoking a blunt without me".

Anyhoo, buy some all natural tobacco leaves and try rolling from those. You'll look like Pablo Escobar.

I think by dutch he means the special papers you can buy.

I personally like the cherry flavoured ones

Well he said that he bought a cigar..........I dunno,\...

Yeah, we have differrent flavored blunts over here too; strawberry, honey, pineapple etc etc.
They're all disgusting :bear: and this is a bear. I've never used the bear. Don't think I've ever seen anyone else use the bear either.....

Fewer people should roll blunts.

More people should use the bear. :bear: :bear:

I like to smoke about 2 blunts a year, and then I remeber why I only smoke blunts twice a year... Overdose THC :bear:... It's a waste of money imo, just like basing cocaine

:bear: !

Alright...I know some people can see that as a waste of money or so...But the fact is that i don't...
And, actually if i wanted to roll a normal "french style" blunt, i could, just buy the leave, but, as i said, i wanted to show how american people do, as i learnt in NYC, so, the brands you are talking about, are certainly the solution to my problems...
What was wrong with the cigar i bought, was the fact that there were no ''outside leave" (the one you blow on in your hand and thorn in small pieces so you can re-stick it to your blunt, once you've rolled with the stronger leave, wich was, in fact in the cigar i bought, too strong, and just broke when i started to roll...)
So do you think i can find any of those "dutch master" or "phillies blunt" in europe (i mean...in france)

:ANAL: :axe: :butthead: :finga:

OMGZ !!!

NEW WORLD OPENED !

MIND EXPANSION COMPLETED !

...

...sorry, don't know shit about rolling

personally i like blunts sometimes. rolled one last night as a matter of fact 8)

Vilo, PM me with your address and I'd be more than happy to send you a few packs. They're dirt cheap; no charge. :bear:

I've never learned to roll a blunt, if it's anything like rolling a normal spliff but then with tobacco I do something similar. Bought normal smoking paper but made out of tobacco and it tastes SO much better. Rolls the same too.

rollin a blunt is easier then rolling a joint imho if you can roll a spliff you should have no problem with a blunt

UTHTURN a dit:

I'll be getting some of that tasty blunt stuff then :P
any pointers i need to watch for while rolling?

The biggest difference in rolling a blunt, particularly if you're using a cut up cigar, is to keep the leaf moist. You gotta lick the shit out of it to keep it from cracking. Once you get it all rolled up, lick it some more and then flame it with a lighter to evaporate some of your nasty saliva.

like brew said you need a good moist blunt unlike brew i would not advise getting a whole leaf for me it was hard as hell to roll. My favorites are the cheap ones that come in a plastic tube they seem to always be moist. you can also get a blunt wrap (blunt minus guts) they work good

hey brewmaster that would be amazingly so f***ing chill...I pm you right now so we can see the whole thing together...
Thanx a lot
