Auto-flower strains

Who has experience growing lowryder or some other auto-flower plant? How long does it take from seeding to harvest? Yields? How is the smoke? ......?

I had no idea what auto-flowering refers to, until I read the following:

Auto-flowering grants a cannabis plant the ability to completely flower without the need for reduction of day-light hours; in turn, eliminating the need for a timer. It will grow consistently well and finish under 24 hours of light - from sprouting to harvest - in eight to nine weeks, although you can achieve similar results with 18 hours of light per day; if you like to give your room time to cool down, for example. The point is, with auto-flowering plants there is no need for a change in the light period to induce flowering, nor is it necessary to have separate vegetative and flowering rooms.

No personal experience with these strains though.

9 weeks X 18 - 24 hours of light = VERY expensive to grow indoors .

I see no point in growing it .

Is it a feminised strain or are there men and hermaphrodites ? And how strong is it compaired to other strains ?

yup pure feminised strain. Lowryder 2. so with the sancta maria touch, if i ain't mistaken. what do you mean how strong it is compared to other strains?

The high?

for an outdoor plant the high was abnormal.
comparable to the sancta maria only a bitt less. the taste was mild.

i wonder about the capabilities of this plant when grown indoor.

I'm asking because i'd like to grow trough the whole year. I was thinking about 2-3 plants so there is one ready every month. No lamps, just at my south-side window. Will it work?

remember they only give around 20 gr dried weed.
dunno if you're a big smoker or not.
yup, it will work, but it needs a lott of light from the outdoors. lamps aren't necessarely but good light for 18 hours a day would be a huge fucking PLUS+
