Any new enhancements in salvia extraction?

I'm just wondering if there have been any interesting moves forward by the good people here... I've been checking out the status of salvia extraction for quite a while, but so far the biggest step forward seems to be the use of ice cold acetone for very short extraction times (a couple of minutes). However, that has been the biggest refinement I've heard of for years.

Nothing new in the last couple years on this...? Just curious.

As far as I know not much has happened in a while. The cold acetone method is very cheep and effective. It is used by the "industry" -those that make salvia concentrates for sale in stores.

I would love to be wrong!
