hey guys i was just wondering if you know of any substances that would help me quit smoking? im not looking for anything like iboga or anything.. do you think wild dagga and blue lotus would be a good alternative?

Crack might be good to help you quit. Or heroin. Try crack and heroin.

I've heard good things about lobotomy as well.

First thing you need is motivation.
Second thing you need is willpower.
Third thing you need is perseverance.
The last thing you need is an alternative.
Maybe weed will make you too lazy to go get cigarettes.

sorry I couldn't really help.

checkout knaster, i like the hemp one really much

I succeeded in quitting tobacco by smoking more weed... Weed is much easier tu quit and made me feel good enough to not want to smoke a cigarette and ruin the high (smoking a cigarette strangely sends me instantly in an MDMA comedown)

Get a hobby like becoming a break dancer or anything that requires immense concentration then do it whenever you get a craving. Also reward yourself for the one week hurdle one month one year. That really works i bought a watch.

Broom flower is supposed to help. it didnt for me but...

Yeah another thing that helps is taking the money you'd usualy spend on cigarettes on other things that you like (doesn't have to be drugs ^^)

You could always try candy when you get a craving. Or chew a piece of gum or a piece of plastic or something, just to keep your mind occupied.

World of Warcraft also helped me quitting tobacco and weed. But you have to like this kind of video games, and not become addicted to it lol.

yeah, the first time i managed to quit for a while, the first week i carried my nintendo ds with me everywhere.. aside from that i worked liked crazy and kept so busy i didn't even have time to think about it

also if you have non smoker friends it helps to spend more time with them, hang out with smokers too much and you'll never quit :D

They only work for quiting if you don't like them

well, it is also important to remove it from your daily routine. For example, if you are used to smoke during the break, after dinner etc., get something else to do instead, something that occupies you. I know quite some people that quit but started again because they were used to e.g. go out during breaks and smoke. You just need to not have time to smoke.

As for substances... I think weed helps but replacing one addiction with the other doesn't seem to be the perfect solution.

ahaa of course

you could go the pavlovs dog route and slap yourself in the face real hard any time u pick up a cigarette, think of having a smoke or think about cigarettes at all
then you'll associate smokes with a slap in the face and the pain association should stop you from doing it

pavlovs dog/clockwork orange

Exactly, that's why nicotine gum tickles your throat. I think it's one of the best nicotine substitutions. Though I don't really believe it helps you stop, it doesn't fuck up your lungs.

yeah.. well this is my second day without smoking a cigarette.. but i have had a couple lips of chewing tobacco.. (which is extremely nasty).. but im guessing its easier to stop chewing then smoking

Some people just stop cold turkey. My grandfather did when he got my father.

Moral? Get children.

Not true. I never liked tobacco and it made me depressed since my MDMA abuse (like it instantly sent me in an MDMA comedown), and I still had a hard time quitting. I just started thinking how good it would be even if I knew I in fact wouldn't like it and feel like shit after. If I succumbed to the temptation I'd take a puff and it'd tastes like shit (especially if I had spent a few days not smoking at all). That sucked. I'm very happy to have succeeded quitting this shit.

I honestly don't think anyone can like smoking tobacco, your body just makes you like it because it is addicted and wants some.

And I think stopping cold turkey is the only way to succeed...
