Agar Medium sterilization

I have 3 agar plates.. with solid medium. Do you think i can sterilize it in the pressure cooker? I've seen a movie where it says that you have to sterilize the agar whil it is LIQUID. but my agar is solid.. what do you think? Will the agar still be fine?

if nothing grows on the agar the day after 'solidification' it already is sterile.
I don't think the pressure cooker is a good idea, the agar would probably melt and/or caramellize

Indeed. the agar dishes melted :| I opened the pressure cooker, and instead of agar dishes, there were 3 plastic balls.
I'll get new dishes.. and won't sterilize them. Hope they will be already enough sterile.

umm no, actually, i 'get' them already made from a laboratory..
i... know the right people
anyway. just got new ones. pus some drops of spores on them. now im waiting to see what's happening. 8)
