The next day i saw signs of rot :( the base of the button start to turn black!I end up taking of the bag for humidity (so the fungus cant grow). Right now is stable... -

Cacti identify
The areolas on san pedro is always looking upwards.If you see closely the picture you can see the areolas pointing mostly downwards (areolas are the spots where the spikes comes out). One more thing, the ribs of san pedro cactus (Trichocereus pachanoi) are more rounded and they are not so deep... -

Yesterday i did my first graft! I will post pics when i remove the bag i have on pot for humidity, in 5 days. I hope it will be ok, though i pretty much fail on giving the button steadiness with some kind of tape! -

Is much cheeper and more fun ;) to grow it by your self. They need minimum care bat you have to search what they like, for example minimum direct light-minimum watering. Lastly i wouldn't suggest to extract mescaline except if you can extract the other alkaloids too (i dont know how) because... -

I manage to found limestone and i take some compost and humus also. I am thinking going exactly your mix with the only difference to be for organic material, 3/4 compost+1/4 humus. I will post the pics after i done with the oven too. -

Sorry not to specify :P the diameter is for dry ones. I dont know how much body they loose when dry, bat i guest a lot :( Its better obviously, bat then you go for a real breakthrough!Also keep in mind that alkaloids and mescaline varies a LOT between buttons and it depends on a lot of factors... -

Today i made my soil mix. 6 parts regular cactus soil 1,5 parts perlite 1 part grit sand 0,5 part gravel Sand and gravel found and washed , the sand especially!I couldn't found limestones so i end up with gravel.I mix the soil and now is in oven on 200 c for 2 hours. -

i found one better, i think,(5-7-12) so i would be stick with it till something better comes of. Today i collect some sand and tomorrow i will go for lime stones. Hopefully tomorrow i will clean my mixture and put it to oven for some sterilisation.:) -

Its not San Pedro at the end.Bat he is Blue Myrtle and is one of the best for grafting (one of the fastest cacti and with not much spikes) lot of people use it as grafting stock with peyote. -

I found today a cactus fertiliser with NPK 5-5-7 i know its not ideal bat is it ok and most importantly will it give something good to my peyote? -
any tips to grow faster?
So if you replant them again on ground after some period of grafting, you get your alkaloids back? Plus i found a fertiliser for cacti 5-5-7, not that good for my peyote? -

Here is the pics from cuttings and the main peyote after i cut them. I will leave them for 1 or 2 weeks on a closet to make the callus before i repot them. The cuttings are 1,8 cm. -

I can found lot of limestones here too!Peyote as a plant is not illegal here (i think) so maybe some research would be fruitful!I dont get it exactly, you say i can use a soil mix completely not fertilised and just fertilise my plant on every watering with a cactus fert?Also if i use compost... -

I think if you want to buy the amount of peyote for a strong trip, you will spend a LOT of money.If there is legal in your country i will suggest to grow them.You will bond with them too. -

Yeah, DMT without purification and not dried properly is VERY harsh and pretty light! -

I dont find that they need lot of attention,any other psychedelic (except DMT) need a LOT more, just be as clean as possible (tools,area,you...)and keep an eye for contamination. Have fun and good crops !:finger: -
